Hi Kim, how does your business help the community?
This is a particularly exciting time to be a coworking space operator. The way people work has evolved so much in just the last few years. Professionals want choices when it comes to work. Hybrid work schedules allowing for more flexibility and work-life balance are sought after more than ever before.  As a coworking brand, we’re able to combine the best aspects of traditional office space within a more flexible model that caters to the way people want to work today. Our spaces offer our members more than just a convenient and productive workspace, but a place to meet new people, collaborate, enjoy amenities, and grow both professionally and personally. I think the future of work is something to be both curious and excited about.

What should our readers know about your business?

Our relationships with our members and each other are what makes us who we are. Caring about the people in our coworking communities is deeply rooted in everything we do, from the team members we hire and retain to the impact we have on our members and local communities.

There are always challenges to face, but we’ve learned that transparency and doing what you say you’re going to do goes such a long way. We’ve also learned to look outside our local communities and find broader areas where we can make an impact. In 2021, we made a commitment to sustainability by becoming SUPER Certified! (Single Use Plastic Elimination or Reduction). SUPER® is a non-profit organization that provides 3rd party certifications to organizations that greatly reduce or eliminate the single-use plastics in their workplaces, thereby cutting down on basic wastefulness. As a coworking and flexible office space brand, Pacific Workplaces Phoenix is inherently positioned to support environmental sustainability and hopes to raise the bar within our own industry on how to conduct business in the 21st century that both benefits society and the environment.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
All of my team members at Pacific Workplaces deserve a shoutout! I’ve been with this company since 2005, so many of my coworkers are like family. It’s truly the people in our organization that make our brand unique and successful.
