Hi Kimberly, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Success isn’t about meeting societal benchmarks or collecting accolades. It’s about daring to take risks, exploring new paths, and finding joy in the process, regardless of the outcome. Success is personal—it’s about aligning your actions with your values, doing what lights you up, and being true to yourself. External achievements like wealth or status do not measure it. It is the internal fulfillment you feel. To me, success means learning from every experience, uplifting others, and making a meaningful contribution. It’s about the courage to keep moving forward, the compassion you show, and the difference you make.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of the things I love about Phoenix is the vibrant festival scene, like Devour and the Wine & Food Experience. These events are perfect for exploring new flavors, catching up with friends, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. I’m also a big fan of the Broadway series at ASU Gammage, which brings a mix of new productions and classic favorites. Another highlight for me is attending the Arizona Speaker Series, which features an impressive lineup of leaders, innovators, and thought-provoking speakers. While hearing from well-known figures is always exciting, I often find the most inspiration from those new to me.

When it comes to dining, some of my go-to spots include Pure Sushi, Buck & Rider, Lorenzo’s Pizza, Nick’s Italian, and any of Sam Fox’s restaurants—they never disappoint. I love Raven’s View, which has outdoor seating and live music. It’s the perfect place to unwind and connect with friends over great food and a breathtaking view.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe much of my success to my dad, who always made me feel seen, supported, and valued. He was my biggest cheerleader and a constant source of encouragement. His unwavering belief in me instilled the confidence to pursue my dreams. He led by example, showing me the importance of hard work, kindness, and resilience. His faith in my abilities taught me to trust in myself and aim higher. My dad’s belief wasn’t just in what I could achieve but in who I could become, which has been the foundation of my success.
