We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristin Kline and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristin, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be a disruption. Not a whisper of inspiration, but a full-volume, soul-shifting, mic-drop moment that moves people to rise. I want people to say, “She didn’t just change her life—she cracked the code and handed others the blueprint.”

I want to be remembered as the woman who turned her comeback into a revolution. Who walked into the darkest systems—prisons, addiction, trauma—and built something powerful with bare hands, faith, grit, and fire. Not to save people. To wake them up. To show them what they’re made of.

My name might fade, but the movement won’t. Because Convicted COMEBACK, Coach Zero Excuses, and Power & Purpose aren’t about me. They’re about the thousands of people who thought they were done—until they realized they were just getting started.

My legacy is this: You can fall, get up, and rise higher than they ever thought you could. With no excuses. No shortcuts. Just purpose, power, and a relentless refusal to settle.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Nothing about my professional path has been traditional—and that’s exactly what sets it apart. I didn’t climb a ladder. I built one, barefoot, after digging myself out of a hole society said I’d never rise from.

Today, I run a nonprofit, an LLC, and multiple transformative programs inside a women’s prison—programs built not just from research or passion, but from lived experience, grit, and accountability. Convicted COMEBACK and Power & Purpose were born behind bars in my spirit long before they became real-world blueprints. I didn’t study reentry—I lived it.

What makes my work different? It’s raw. It’s real. It’s results-driven. I teach women how to reclaim their bodies, rewire their minds, and rewrite the story they thought they were stuck in. I merge fitness, mindset, education, and radical accountability into a system that transforms survivors into leaders.

Was it easy? Hell no. But that’s the point. I didn’t wait for doors to open—I kicked them down. I faced rejection, bias, judgment, and systemic red tape. And I still showed up. Because this mission isn’t a business—it’s a movement.

The lesson? You don’t need permission to change lives. You just need purpose, discipline, and zero excuses. That’s what I want the world to know: you can come from the bottom and still build something that changes everything.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To be honest, I don’t keep up with the “hot spots” in the city—and that’s intentional. I don’t chase the scene. I create the space.

If my best friend came to visit, I wouldn’t take them to a fancy restaurant or the newest rooftop bar. I’d take them to the court. The field. The open space where we can move our bodies, breathe deep, and talk real about life. I’d build the vibe from the ground up—music loud, energy high, and no filter.

We’d stretch in the sun, train like warriors, and cool down with raw conversation under the sky. Then maybe hit a plant shop, feed the animals, or swing by the local community center where real transformation is happening.

I believe the most powerful places in a city aren’t the ones built for entertainment—they’re the ones where people are being rebuilt from the inside out. And that’s what I do. I don’t just live in Phoenix. I help it heal, move, and grow.
