Hi Krizia Inez, how do you think about risk?
Risks can be scary, but are also worth it. I feel taking risks in life are necessary. They are necessary for growth in each individual in their own different ways. When we get comfortable in life & where there is no growth developing within oneself, or no positive changes happening we will begin to question, “what more is there”. We begin to yearn for more “enlightenement” within our life, that is where Risks can seem scary. In order to reach that enlightenment there must be a risk you are willing to take within your life. Yes it may be scary but if you’re not willing to take that risk how will you know what is on the other side? Will you spend your last days wishing you could’ve tried something you desired & passionate about, made the job switch, or took the time to travel? Don’t allow risk taking to be a fear but allow it to be a door opening you to another part of your life you never knew you could experience.

Risk taking has definitely played a huge role within my life & business. I took a big risk by leaving the corporate company I was working for in the midst of my mothers life transition. I was scared because I didn’t know “how” it would work out, I didn’t know if this was the “right” path to take, but something inside me felt very determined & that if I didn’t take this risk I would remain “comfortable” in my corporate job with a wonder in my mind of “what if I did make that jump”? I am 100% grateful for taking that leap of faith because I am now fulfilling my passion of owning my own business, serving others with intention, I am living out my desires & passions, with so many more ideas that continue to flourish within my career.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Soul Essence is a place of “Energy Healing, Intentional Self-Care & Reconnection with Self & Spirit”.  We ALL need intentional healing in the holistic bodies, mind, body & soul. This can also be referred to as the mental, physical & emotional bodies of human design.

My craft that I have brought into this world is integrating “Holistic Skincare Services” with “Energy Healing”  to relax & receive dedicated self-care nourishment of the skin, with a release of low stress energy & an intake of renewed positive energy.

Each client can choose from holistic skincare services, energy sessions, or an integrated option of receiving both in 1 session, this is known as a “Reiki+Skin Session”. My organic skincare services are aligned with Earthly ingredients & formulations, incorporating natural skincare modalities that are meant to nourish the skin in an holistic pathway.

The most loved session at Soul Essence is the “Reiki Skin Session”, this type of session is a deep healing session, providing love & care for the skin & spirit. Relax in your crafted space of self-care for the skin, with an infusion of Reiki Energy, crystals, & frequency healing. All of these modalities tied into one session brings deep healing & alignment during ones life/soul journey. Not a lot of people know what “Reiki” or “Energy Healing” is, I’d like to break that down for anyone who is curious!

Reiki is an energy healing modality, connecting you to source energy. This Universal Life Force Energy is an energy that resides in all of us, giving us life. We as human beings are programmed  to work, give & produce, work, give & produce, not paying attention to the different energies we interact with & intake on a daily basis, whether it is intentionally or unintentionally. This results in the “life force energy” to run low or depleted within us. We then become stressed, imbalanced, fatigued, fearful, physically ill, & other manifestations that can cause the body to be drained or sick.

The mental, physical or emotional body can hold onto past experiences, traumas & emotions that can then manifest into illness, sickness, anxiety, depression, feelings of chronic stress, etc. When this life force energy is running at a high vibration within us & we are feeling elevated emotions and feelings of happiness, love, & joy we are aligned with living & being happy, healthy & balanced within. We are able to focus, concentrate & show up not just for others but showing up for ourselves, giving ourselves gratitude & grace during this Earthly & Human experience. We each are responsible to do the work of learning & healing ourselves from our past. When I am performing Reiki I am serving as an intuitive guide along your journey, helping bring love, support & alignment on one’s journey. Receiving Energy Healing is like receiving a massage for your energetic system. Releasing what isn’t serving or aligning with us, releasing the experiences & traumas that have been held onto with forgiveness.

Reiki is a natural & spiritual energy modality that allows alignment within each of us on all levels. This helps one on their journey of life, to relax, realign, & release encouraging feelings & emotions of wellbeing & inner-peace. It has also been known to help improve & heal illnesses, sickness, stress & is effective when working in conjunction with other known medical or therapeutic modalities.

I have created Soul Essence to be an abundant healing collective where all are welcome to their own “safe space”, for all  to come & release without any judgment, but to also be heard & validated, to be free of the day to day hustle, & to release what the mind sometimes doesn’t allow us to release. It is a space where love, safety, connection & co-creation is amplified.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a very down to earth person & love doing laid back & chill things! With so many healing events that take place in the Valley going to events where they have different market vendors, such as SW Herb Shop, where you can support & shop local of beautiful smelling herbs along with classes & vendor market & events that take place here. A beautiful & divine couple that are always hosting unique energetic & creative events around the valley, that are SO incredibly touching & healing is Javante & Betty Battle. Receiving Reiki energy healing is very moving for me & has done wonders of healing the soul & physical body. Their events are amazingly creative as they usually tie in different healing modalities at their events. Heck, even booking a general Reiki Session with one of them is incredible! Card readings are a favorite of mine as well, I love reading cards, but I also love when I get to receive a reading from another intuitive reader, for that I’d book a reading with Katy Quiroz, not only are her readings & connections very deep but she also performs Hypnotherapy sessions that are just SO phenomenal. I’ve never done Hypno until meeting Katy, & when I did begin Hypno, it was such a moving experience of healing. Book a reading or any sort of Hypno & Energy Healing with Katy is on my list of to do on a week of exciting things to do!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My biggest shoutout is to my mother Inez, who is no longer living here on Earth with us but heavily in spirit essence. She is forever connected & apart of my soul journey. She was the biggest person out of my support system of who held my foundation & loved me endlessly through every step of my journey great & low. Having her as my mother in this lifetime has been an abundant blessing in so many significant ways. A few words of encouragement that always remains with me from my mother was “in life we have always found a way & we always will continue to find a way”. My brother Chris has also played a significant role in my & my childrens life. He has been a genuine blessing to my kids & I, throughout the the years since having my first child, Troy. Chris has been a grounding place of safety for my children. He is an amazing soul to us, & has always held support. He continues to believe in me & holds a safe space for me here on Earth. My father Robert & brother Bobby are apart of this village & have held safety, support, & love to my family & I. I am ever so thankful to each & every one of these souls that I’ve been blessed with.
