We had the good fortune of connecting with Latasha Burger and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Latasha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was tired of working for others, so I took a leap of faith and started my business. I wanted to create generational wealth for my family, but I couldn’t do that while helping make it for someone else’s family. Also, I was becoming aligned with my purpose during that time, so I felt called to make a change. I must say it was the scariest yet most rewarding thing that I’ve done. I’m nowhere near where I want to be yet. However, my peace of mind every day is worth the sacrifice.

What should our readers know about your business?
I help those seeking guidance or clarity regarding different life circumstances with my business. My gift allows me to connect with others empathetically, which helps them feel safe with me. In my field, it’s not easy business-wise; I know it will take time to build up my clientele. However, I feel like patience and persistence are what are helping me overcome my challenges.

In my line of work, I have learned that the divine will align you with people or energies similar to your old self to help them heal. It’s a reflection of your growth process and a way to teach others to gain a different perspective of their life/situations. The purpose of life is to be loving towards one another and be willing to use our experiences to help elevate each other.

I want people to know that I love what I do and aspire to inspire! Every day I wake up ready and willing to be a guide to those who need it. I’m always learning and growing, so I may continue to teach others what I know. I believe in the power of healing and bringing love back to the world. I am fully committed to each of my client’s current and future.

Lastly, I have created an online store where we’ll be offering high quality and affordable products. The website will be launched on October 1st.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best friend and I love to eat so I would take her to What’s Crackin Cafe in Mesa and Hash Kitchen in Chandler. I would also take her to A mountain to view downtown Tempe and go to Tempe Marketplace as well as Westgate for nighttime fun. Since I’m newer to the area, we would have to explore together.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Most definitely my immediate family. I grew up in a Christian background, so my profession is considered a sin. However, my family has been very understanding and supportive of me. Also, I want to recognize my best friend Diamond Figures, my cousins Amri Buchanan and Nicole Pierce, and my friend Marquita Washington. They have supported the changes I have made in my life and allowed me to practice readings on them.
