Meet Leanna DeBellevue | Owner, DeBellevue Global Marketing Agency

We had the good fortune of connecting with Leanna DeBellevue and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leanna, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor in the success of our brand has been the circle of people I surround myself with as a business owner. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart, in some ways it is a perpetual roller coaster. It can be a series of extreme highs and lows and if you don’t have the right people around you to encourage you, champion for you and celebrate with you moving forward can be quite difficult. Once I surrounded myself with people who are focused on growth, positivity and cultivating meaningful relationships my business blossomed and became what it is today. I truly believe that most of my business success can be attributed to my tribe of trusted business owners whom I call friends.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I had no idea when I started this company in 2010 that it would become an International Marketing Agency offering a variety of digital marketing services. I was simply following the advice of “do what you love and you will never work a day in your life.” Well, I liked playing on social media and making connections that resulted in businesses growing. This passion fueled my drive to succeed!
Our clients often feel overwhelmed by all the things they are told they “have” to do to succeed online. We pride ourselves on helping our clients find marketing tools that are in alignment with their growth vision, speak to their target market and create lasting relationships. We believe that true marketing success is a marathon, not a sprint.
Because of my unique view of how marketing strategies should be implemented and how online relationships need to be built, I have been given some fantastic opportunities to share my expertise. I have been invited to speak on stages at PubCon and Digital Marketing World Conference as well as featured on numerous podcasts. Being featured on platforms such as IheartRadio and BuzzFeed I have been able to speak to thousands of business owners around the world. Additionally, I was able to partner with other amazing business owners and co-author an Amazon International bestseller titled “Light At The End Of The Funnel, a practical guide for business owners who are ready to step into success.” I was also invited to be a member of the Forbes Council in 2020-2021. That was a wonderful opportunity that expanded our reach even further!
Overall in the twelve years, we have been in business our team has been able to help clients from over 19 countries generate millions of dollars in sales using digital marketing tools to connect and engage with their target markets. The companies we have worked with range from global conglomerates to real estate moguls and individual business owners looking to reach new untapped markets.
None of the journey has been easy, however, each step has been well worth it. Saying “yes” to opportunities and then figuring out the details later has been how so many of these incredible things have come to fruition. Overcoming challenges is like a muscle that gets stronger the more you exercise it. The ups and downs of business ownership still occur regularly, however they are not as dramatic as they once were and there is a level of confidence that comes with time under your belt as a business owner. Every day I still learn something new, and every day I look for a way to be better than I was the day before.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Spending the evening in downtown Gilbert is one of my favorite things to do! We love starting our evening at the White Rabbit and then head to dinner at Culinary Dropout, see a production at Hale Theater and end up with some ice cream at Topo. A secondary favorite way to spend the day is brunch at The Olive Mill in Queen Creek, followed up by a day at the spa at Wild Horse Pass. Any way that I can unwind and relax with friends and family is a win! My husband and I are big foodies so any opportunity for us to try new restaurants, exotic cuisines or just get out and try something new we are all for it!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband Jeff and my “Circle of 5” are my biggest cheerleaders and I am theirs!
