Meet Lennox Simms | Actor, Artist, Author, Model, Positive Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lennox Simms and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lennox, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I am only 7.5 years old but in my time I have experienced this myself. I love to tell people to never give up. If you give up then you will never know becuase you would have never tried. Anything can happen if you just beileve in yourself.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

When Lennox was a baby, we always knew there was something special about him. He was always so calm and curious to learn and absorb the world around him. Due to his nature and calm temperment, we signed him up with a talent agency and he started acting and modeling when he was 9 months old. When he was about 3 he booked a recurring role on the hit television show Chicago Fire playing the son of Chief Boden. His name on the show is Terrance Boden. Lennox has a book out by Lulu publishings. It is a unique way for kids to create their own stories. His story is called Jack, Tracks, and the Baby Monster. It is an adventurous story about helping out a friend. Since then, Lennox has always loved animation and art. He has also started a YouTube channel called LenArt that teaches kids and just about anyone how to draw. He has accomplished so much already but if you ask him, he is most proud of being kind. When Lennox grows up he aspires to continue acting and drawing and hopes to do cartoon voice over work and to also become a dentist.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Lennox is so new to the city. Coming from Chicago and during the pandemic, it has been very difficult for our family to explore and see all that this great state has to offer. We have been to a few places here and there but we will say that Arizona has the most beautiful landscpes and nature. It is incredible here. And also incredibly hot. LOL

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents Jeremy and Dorothee and my sister Nadia. They are the one’s that always have my back and always want to see me do good no matter what.
