We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsea McKinley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lindsea, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Staying motivated is one of the most important factors in my success, it’s one thing to wake up one day and feel motivated but for me it takes a little more stamina to stay in that mind set. In order to stay motivated, enjoying what I do on a daily basis and working towards thriving in my career every single day makes a huge impact on my determination and how I stay compliant for each day ahead.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started my creative journey by posting my Disney based photography on Instagram, connecting with people alike and through the platform I have built many friendships and connections that have allowed me to expand in collaborating with different companies and organizations. Ive truly enjoyed being able to see and share these experiences through my own eyes and photos. I enjoy the small things in life, the small details that you usually wouldn’t notice unless you looked an extra minute longer.

In my professional career I am a real estate agent, after starting my platform I realized that I wanted to follow a bigger dream and pursue more than what I was custom to. I worked in government for most of my 20’s and I didn’t feel the determination that I once did. I often remembered the joy I felt when my husband and I bought our first home, that sparked my interest and I had never been more in my element once I started that endeavor. Anything you set your mind to, you CAN do!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For an outdoors adventure Mt. Lemmon in Tucson is a must do. The drive up from the back of the mountain gives you a view of desert and pine that gradually changes the higher up the mountain you go. You can zip line before you reach the trail if you are feeling adventurous too! The views are stunning in so many different places on the way, you may also see wildlife. Pull over for beautiful mountain top photos and have lunch/dinner once you reach the very top. The drive up is a lengthy drive and is not for vehicles without 4×4 but the drive down on the front path is much shorter.

For shopping some of my favorite boutiques include Alixandra Collections (Phoenix), P J Chilcottage (Flagstaff) and Historic Downtown Florence for a Historic Old Town Western feel that has some really great thrift stores and dining locations.

For Family fun we enjoy Castles and Coasters Dave and Buster’s, and Great Wolf Lodge.

For delicious and unique spaces for dining we love Comedor Guadalajara (Phoenix), Ziggy’s Magic Pizza Shop (Phoenix), Sauce Pizza & Wine (Queen Creek).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Father, without him I wouldn’t be who I am today.
