Meet Liz Hahn | Owner & Founder of Phoenix Bachelor Party

We had the good fortune of connecting with Liz Hahn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liz, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always loved the music and entertainment industry. Growing up in Southern California, not far from Malibu and Calabasas, I loved throwing parties with local bands, kegs of beers, beer bongs, party models, and wet T-shirt contests. This was the winning combination back then: women, beer, and good music.

Being the party-loving person I am, I wanted to continue with this spirit of fun to these days and share amazing party experiences with others. This is the motivation behind my business, Phoenix Bachelor Party, a party planning agency specializing in customizing and organizing bachelor parties.

When I started my first party planning agency in 1991 in San Diego, I provided Go-Go dancers and party models to the EDM DJ scene, but over time, I realized I wanted to focus on creating party packages for bachelor parties and expand to multiple party destinations. Phoenix, Arizona, is the ideal place for such services. People love to travel to Phoenix for their best friend’s bachelor party as the destination is popular for its world-class golf courses, pleasant weather, great eateries, and eye-candy party entertainers.

So yeah, Phoenix Bachelor Party exists because I love planning parties and customizing bachelor party experiences for guys who want to celebrate their best bros getting married. I started with just a pager, a list of phone numbers, and party models and dancers, and I kept adapting and expanding our services over the years to offer what clients wanted. Going to the strip club to celebrate the bachelor doesn’t cut it anymore. People want weekend getaways with fun activities and private party professionals to entertain them, and I’m more than happy to provide that.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business, Phoenix Bachelor Party, serves the Phoenix, Arizona area, as the name suggests. We customize bachelor party experiences and help the best men or friends of the groom organize epic bachelor parties. We have a couple of popular party packages we offer that I’m really proud of, and these are available all the time, while some party packages are seasonal, such as the one for The Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The bachelor party services available all year round that are popular with party groups are party professionals for golf getaways, pool parties, or Bach parties at private residences, Airbnbs, or other type of party-friendly rentals.

So if someone comes to us to plan their Phoenix bachelor party by the pool, we can provide them with our Pool Party Girls, party professionals who know how to keep a group entertained. They are fun and friendly, and they can play beer pong with the guys, chat, offer the bachelor special attention, and hang out with the group.

For guys traveling to Phoenix for a golf getaway, we recommend our Golf Caddy Girls. They will accompany the group on all holes, help with choosing the iron, drive the golf cart, and enhance the whole golfing experience.

My business journey was not always smooth; we were impacted by things like the COVID-19 pandemic just as much as other businesses in this competitive industry, but we learned to adapt and have patience with times when things don’t work out. I learned to pay attention to what people want and what’s trending in terms of partying and always find ways to make our party packages better.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend would visit me in Phoenix, I would love to tour the town with them and show them some hot spots. We would go big with a luxury party bus, cruise around, and enjoy our own mobile club with disco lights and a dance pole in between the stops. We would hit some fun cocktail bars, such as Century Grand, get something to eat, and maybe enjoy some live music at The Blooze.

The next day, I would invite more friends (the more, the merrier), throw a pool party with cute floaties, enjoy the sun, and take some Instagram-worthy photos together. When the sun goes down, we would crawl some clubs, such as Dwntwn and Karamba Nightclub, as my bestie loves to dance!
