We had the good fortune of connecting with lori judd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi lori, how do you think about risk?
There is risk in everyday life. When it comes to working for a “company” that is the biggest risk of all. This might sound brash but Know one is safe when it comes to working with corporate America. I decided way back that I was always going to be in control of my work, whom I work with and for and how much of an impact I will have in my field with my piers and competition. I never will have to look for a job. I will always have work and can always make a living. So risk is not a risk it is a decision to make it not and keep pushing through good and bad times. But being in control of your life is the safest way I can say is not a risk…Does that make sense?

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
515 Connexions is made up of the Founder, Lori Judd and her incredible team of assistants and organizers. They are the “connexion” that you have been waiting for. That extra hand, assistant, house manager, go to person. Lori, born in Brooklyn, NY spent half of her life in Syosset and now Las Vegas, NV for over 32 years.

Her work ethic is: “get the job done, no matter what it takes” (legally of course). Lori and her team have worked with many homeowners and offices from New York to California. From assisting Families, Presidents of Casinos, CEO’s of Businesses, Brain Surgeons and Socialites and every one in-between. Everyone is important to the 515 Team. From picking up that extra case of coconut water to working with the contractors on a remodel. 515 is that team you want on the job.
Her passion is working with Seniors in “rightsizing”, (downsizing). Working with families of seniors and assisting in those difficult decisions on what can be taken, what they have room for, or simply need to take to feel comfortable in their new home. Her expertise with working with seniors has become a household name in many parts of the country. Her passion for people and her team show each family that they are number one with no exception. From finding the best moving company, working on decluttering, space planning, unpacking, filling the fridge and making their new home as comfortable as possible. The 515 team are the ones you want to have on your side. With no stone unturned they will get the job done, quickly and compassionately.
Her team has worked on hundreds of homes and businesses across the country, from packing up and unpacking and organizing a home, meeting the moving truck at the new home, unpacking and setting their home up for move in, to storage unit organization, small closet organizing or anything large or small. Their attention detail is incredible, not to mention so much love and thought go into every project whether large or small, not leaving one box unpacked. And the clients get to come home and live their best lives without lifting a finger.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First I would check her into the Phoenician Resort, have cocktails by the pool and a massage. Then we would go downtown and walk around Old Town for the afternoon and stop at the Mission Old Town for a little latin flare. Maybe the following day we would rent a kayak and go to the Tempe Beach Park. Bring a picnic basket and chill by the water for the day. Perhaps take in a show at the Tempe Center for Arts. We would most likely go to some of the cool ASU Bars: Bourbon Street Sports Bar, The Vine, maybe a comedy club or 2.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wow I feel like I am at the Oscars….having to thank sooo many people in a short amount of time. Where to begin. I’d have to say first and foremost my parents, mostly my dad, who ALWAYS said, Lori work for yourself, you will always be in control, from your pay to the people you surround yourself to where you can live and what you can do. And so it began, of course staring at a 9-5 working my way up the ladder when one of my first bosses asked me to house sit and take care of his mini mansion in Vegas. This job as a marketing manager for a Cardiovascular Consulting firm turned House Manager overseeing the staff, vendors, setting up events and organizing everything that had to be organized. John Goodman was another mentor who took me from 9-5 and let me thrive on my own, showing me that I was holding myself back at a JOB.
