We had the good fortune of connecting with Marci Isaacs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marci, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks have been a huge part of my career. My personality is one that easily steps out of the box and into something new or different, so I perceive taking risks as more of an adventure. It’s exciting to see it all unfold, and so far my risk taking has worked for my benefit. Mostly the risks I have taken have been financial risks. Purchasing rentals early in my career and quitting my part time job to do real estate full-time are a few of them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a realtor and I believe what sets me apart from others is my ability to connect with people. My customers know I care for them, not just in a real estate relationship, but also about other parts of their lives. I worked incredibly hard to get where I am today in real estate. My first two years I was pushed to my limit as I began to be successful early on. The challenges for me included juggling over 40 closings in the first year, and 45 in the 2nd year. This is difficult when you are just starting. The lessons I learned all have to do with the importance of mentors and having others be a part of the process. Listening to others that are more experienced gave me the what I needed to get rooted in the industry. I want to the world to know that you’ll make money when people become your priority. It all comes down to caring for your customer and making them feel seen and heard.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to travel internationally, so my idea of a trip would be to go to another country. I also enjoy cruises and staying in airbnbs in places I’ve never been. Eating at new restaurants and site seeing is all a part of the experience!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My broker, Deanna Moore, has been so amazing in my success journey.
