We had the good fortune of connecting with Martia Hunt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Martia, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
My work life balance has changed significantly over time.

I have a passion for organization and having a plan. My life has to be completely planned out in advance to ensure I am giving my all to my family and business. I always schedule out time for self-care and this has been key in achieving work life balance.

It is very possible to thrive in both your business and personal life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of Clearing the Clutter, LLC. Clearing the Clutter is a home organization business that provides service to the metro Phoenix, East and West Valley.

I have passion for organization in the home. Organization helps to reduce stress and anxiety. It helps to create function and flow when life gets busy.

My focus has been assisting busy single moms, single dads, individuals, and families, I collaborate to help create an organization system that fits each unique home situation.

One lesson that I have learned along the way is that my clients are very busy. I ensure that I am available via phone, email, or text after hours and even on the weekends. It helps to ensure that we are able to collaborate on the project until it is finished.

Clearing the Clutter, LLC provides kitchen and pantry organization, playroom organization, bathroom organization and much more. We are efficient and professional, always ensuring our clients are satisfied.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For food-we would definitely hit up Hash Kitchen for brunch. They have amazing mimosas and the best corn beef hash.

For adventure-We would go on a nice hike at Pima Canyon trailhead and take in the views

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout my family and friends for being very influential in my journey starting my own business.

Since it’s inception, my parents have shown full support and are always checking in on me to see how things are going.

My friends and other family share my social media posts and help with my engagement online.

This support has been crucial and it keeps me going especially if I am overwhelmed with my to do list and everything else there is to do.
