Hi Marcus, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The sink or swim mentality is what I feel helped me succeed in business. I don’t have a backup plans or what if options. When I set a goal in my mind, I make sure the universe has no option but to give me that which I desire.

What should our readers know about your business?
Fresh Out the Youtube channel was started in 2013 by myself and Big Ant with just a vision and a goal to put out a positive message so that people didn’t make the same mistakes I made and end up in prison. Fresh Out was one of the first Youtube channels to speak on prison in a positive nature and focus on peoples successes after prison rather than glorify the lifestyle. From the Youtube channel we branched off and started a website that offered t-shirts, workout supplements, personal consulting and master courses. As Big Herc916 the personality behind Fresh Out, I’ve built a business as a life coach, created a second Youtube channel Big Herc916 that focuses on more lifestyle content. I’ve also self published several books and marketed my own clothing line “Never Settle For Average”. I am most proud of the thousands of people who message me and say that my videos have changed their lives for the better. I always let my viewers know that nothing happens overnight and you have to be able to own up to your mistakes and look past them. Life lessons are something you can’t avoid, but if you believe in self it doesn’t matter what the world is doing around you, you can create your own reality. I am most excited about manifesting the ideas I have in the fourth dimension and making them a reality in the third dimension. Leading by example inspiring others. Im thankful everyday for the lives of the youth that I’ve helped.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend visiting me in Arizona for a week, I would plan out an itinerary of things to do. At the top of that list would be visiting my favorite breakfast spot, the Breakfast Kitchen Bar in Scottsdale. Hanging out among the shops and people always puts a smile on my face. With such a large selection of stores and places to dine you will find something that sparks you’re interest. Being a big car guy, a car show or event would also be on the itinerary. Whether it be a day at the track or simple car meetup you are bound to find some great conversation. For night life and fun I would take them to Old Town Scottsdale to visit the different bars and restaurants. The diversity of people in Old Town always makes for great people watching and good times. An overnight trip trip to Sedona would also have to be included so they could see the mountains and experience the fantastic restaurants. Visiting the mountains always leaves a life lasting impression on what people envision as Arizona beauty. If time allowed I would also take them to one of the hidden waterfalls that makes this state so special.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to credit the success I’ve had in my life to a few contributing factors. The mentors I had in prison helped me realize the potential I had within me which changed the way I viewed myself. There was a book in prison I read called Conversations With God By Neale Donald Walsch which blessed me with a spiritual awakening giving me greater purpose in life. My wife Leisa and Big Ant my business partner with the Youtube channel Fresh Out have also supported me in my vision to create a media empire and be a positive influence to others.
