We had the good fortune of connecting with marina fini and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi marina, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think about risk being the jumping point to your vision and doing the necessary steps or falls to gain knowledge to know how to acquire your dream. I think taking risks is vital for up leveling your life so you can better understand how to reach what you want. I have taken many risks throughout my career that have led me to where I am now, and if I never took those potentially scary jumps I wouldn’t be where I am today. in order to live a life that you want to live you have to jump in the deep end, You have to take risks and go into the abyss of the unknown. You have to understand that the risk is where your old life ends and your new one begins. I left LA in 2017 to move to Joshua tree to start a semi permanent installation called Rainbowbathhouse which was risky for my career to leave the city, but ended up being the best thing for me in the end . then I moved to Sedona and started Rainbowbathhouse 2.0. I took over a warehouse that was decrepit and soulless and transformed it into what it is now! putting all my love, money and energy into the space that has now existed for almost 3 years.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Hi, my name is Marina Fini. I am an alchemist of space, installation artist, photographer and videographer. My art fuses together healing modalities intertwined with artistic expression through photography and video. I also create healing spaces that are filled with plexiglass art i produce. I usually throw events with performance artists, DJs, and musicians of all kinds in the spacesI build. I collaborate with a diverse group of people around the world to co-create magic together. I have been working in fashion and photography for 12 years, but got into healing arts in the last seven years which has fused a new level of care into my vision. There is deeper aspect to my work with healing trauma in the spaces I create. By helping people with being seen in front of the camera especially, whether i am styling them, this holds space for transformation to activate more of their authentic self . I am most proud of being able to help others around me and help indigenous communities by having fundraisers at my space, allowing diversity to shine in small towns. I am excited to assist in helping other people be seen and heard and celebrated for who they are, and create safety for queer and marginalized people with Rainbowbathhouse.
My journey with my art has been a deep process of trials and errors, but also successes and so much brilliance. I’ve been able to collaborate with so many amazing people throughout these last 12 years of my life that it all is worth it in the end. all the pain, all the hardships of being an artist in this world , keeps me going strong to know my spirit is here to help others share their creativity and light. I’ve been able to overcome challenges by having amazing friends and supporters. Also, by doing a lot of deep reflection and purging of old stories that have been holding me back. Some of the main lessons that I’ve learned along the way are to not give up and to not listen to other people and what they think because that will ultimately hold you back. Keep doing you, keep up the fight to persevere and shine bright. What I want the world to know most about my vision is that it’s here to stay, and that I will build epic color therapy temples around the world to help activate and heal people on a deep level.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
