We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Feldman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I strongly believe that the success of Sanctuary Bail Bonds can be attributed to 2 specific areas. First is having a clear vision for our brand. At Sanctuary Bail Bonds we started with the idea that most people who need bail assistance have no clue as to how the process works. They are in a vulnerable and frightened position. If we take our knowledge of the hospitality industry and apply the same understanding, appreciation and consideration to the bail industry, we would be successful and profitable. By creating detailed bail documentation and taking the time to explain the bond process (risks and possible results) to the friends and family members that would be putting their own finances and collateral up for the bond, we can help them make the best decision with the least amount of fear possible. This includes, at times, saying no to posting a bond or altering the conditions of release to include Recovery Facilities or different housing. Our goal is to help our clients during this difficult time without judgment and to take a very unfortunate situation and provide the best possible service.
The second, and equally important, reason I feel that Sanctuary Bail Bonds has been able to be successful for the past 10 years has to be our staff. This industry is perceived to be untrustworthy and sometimes even criminal. In some cases I can agree with that opinion but Sanctuary Bail Bonds spends too much time trying to be the exception and not the stereotype. In order for us to provide that stellar service we must have the right team presenting that image. All of our agents are licensed experts in the bail bond industry and share the same values that we have implemented from the start. They are our family and we empower them to help find a solution for our clients. Without a strong team all sharing the same vision we would never reach the level of success that we currently have seen.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From a young age I have always had a very positive attitude and believe that I am a honest and trustworthy person. Money can come and go but your reputation is the only thing that stays with you throughout your life. Some people might have bad experiences with you and there is no question that you are going to be challenged in life but how you fail and how you deal with those failures are going to dictate your character. I am very proud of my character. I feel that this is a huge accomplishment based on the business I have been involved in throughout my life. I started in the hospitality industry as a young kid and worked my way through everything from bussing to food serving until I found my calling as a DJ. For the past 30 years I have opened, managed and owned some of the most impressive concepts throughout California and Arizona and have been fortunate enough to entertainment hundreds of thousands of people throughout my life. I never let these business blessings make me someone that I wasn’t and as I morphed my career into the bail industry and expanded back into the restaurant industry, I am proud to say that I still can sleep each night knowing that I am a good person that does the best job I can regardless of the circumstance.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Back in the day this would be an easy one, Since I believe that I was an important part of creating the nightlife pulse for Arizona, I would take them to Old Town Scottsdale and show them all of the dining and entertainment options that have made us one of the most popular destinations around. Today, I can’t move as quick as I used to and I enjoy an early evening if possible. I don’t believe I would be that entertaining host for a week any longer.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to send a special “Shoutout” to my business partner, mentor and best friend, Tom Cerino. He is the captain and leader in everything we do. His business knowledge is only shadowed by the size of his heart. There is no better example of true friend and man then Tom Cerino.
