We had the good fortune of connecting with Marina Mohan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marina, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I have always been artistic and a creator. Growing up I was always involved in dance and art. I think that I always bring creativity into what I’m doing.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My name is Marina Mohan, I am an educator as well as an artists, creator and business woman. I helped in co-founding 4Ever450, a nonprofit based on unity within the community. It’s aim is to provide artists and creators of all kinds with opportunities for development, production, promotional services, education, and experiences. We have helped artists create promotions for events, as well as connect artists with a multitude of resources such as producers, engineers, videographers, and more. We also aim to create events within the community to give opportunities for artists and creators to showcase their work and build connections within the community. I think it’s always important as a leader to remember you can always learn more and working and collaborating with others is a great way to explore innovation and different perspectives, not to mention being on a team feels a lot more supportive than going at things solo.

I also am a co-owner to the bikini brand Hypekinis aimed to provide swim and beach wear to hype our customers up and have them feeling ready to take on the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to shoutout my family and sister and business partner Gresa. I would also have to shout out my 4Ever450 team too. I don’t think I would be where I am at without them. Having a strong team behind you full of support can make all the difference.
