We had the good fortune of connecting with Marlo Terhark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marlo, what’s your definition for success?
“I believe character can make or break you in this industry, and that’s why integrity and honesty are always at the heart of the way I work. My goal is for clients to feel they can completely trust me. People don’t just come in for a service — they come in with personal concerns and hopes, and it’s my role to help them feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Sometimes that means being a great listener as much as it means providing a treatment. To me, true success is when clients feel so cared for and understood that they recommend me to others. That trust and confidence is what drives me.”

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
For me it’s more of a passion that I have for Laser cosmetics. I love being able to talk to people about their concerns and how they feel and how I could contribute to helping them feel more confident in themselves. I also have a passion for being kind and sincere to people. We all deserve to have kindness in our life. I’ve literally had people hug me that just came into our office when they were leaving, tell me that I made them feel so good. I’ve been told I should be a therapist. Our clients are very important to us at our office. We appreciate every single one of them. Without them, I wouldn’t even be there..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely love to take them to Sedona. I am a very spiritual person, and I love the church up on the mountain. Take them to Flagstaff. Cooler weather sightseeing. Also, if they were here for the weekend, I’d be taking them to karaoke. I love singing.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband Cutt, if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t even be working in this industry of cosmetic’s or be in the field I’m in now. He paid for all my schooling, and he opened the office.
