We had the good fortune of connecting with Meghan Sokolowski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meghan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to create an easy way for women to solve the issues they have with their closet. More than half of women have wardrobes that stress them out (as much as women act like fashion is fun!). More often than not, what’s causing the stress in their closet is easily fixable. Not feeling great in what you’re wearing completely affects your day negatively. So, by solving this issue, women can get through their day more happily and peacefully!

What should our readers know about your business?
I love that my business gives women an affordable way to solve their wardrobes. It can be SUCH a stress for women. I’ve structured my business so that rather than having to spend thousands of dollars to go shopping with a personal stylist, my client can speak with my via video and text from the comfort of her home. Finally, having a wardrobe picked out by a professional isn’t only for the mega-wealthy. Every woman should feel lovely and confident in what she’s wearing.

I’m so available and quick to solve my clients wardrobe problems as they arise organically. If she tries an outfit on her closet and doesn’t feel great – she can text me right then and there to get the solution to her problem. Perhaps I”ll tell her to tuck in her shirt or choose a different shoe, OR perhaps I’ll text her to a shopping link of a sweater I think would look a lot better – Boom! It’s a time-effective and cost-effective way for a Personal stylist, myself, to work with as many clients as possible.

I’ve also realized that every woman has to revamp her closet in her own way. I have to encourage them but not push too hard or not enough. It’s a little dance and I think being cognizant of her unique personality is very important.

I’d like women to know that if they’re unhappy getting dressed, it doesn’t have to be like that forever! My format for working with clients really is the most cost-effective way to get results. I don’t take commision off the clothes I sell because it reall is all about my client getting the perfect wardrobe for her lifestyle, personality and budget.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely hike the McDowell Sonoran Preserve! Maybe pop over to the Kierland Commons for a little shopping. Then I’d love to take them to the Beverly on Main in Old Town Scottsdale for a little aperitif! After that, we’d walk around the different art galleries in that area.

On a different day we’d hike the Spur Cross Rach Conservation in Cave Creek. After that, we’d go to downtown Cave Creek to walk along the cute little strip with all of the shops, cafes and restaurants!

Another day we would go up to Sedona to hike Cathedral Rock! Then for lunch head to Colt Grill for some fabulous BBQ. In the evening we’d check out all of the art galleries.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Brice Sokolowski of Vaucluse helped me with the business side of what I do. I’m more artistic brained so he really made it possible by giving me the framework for how to best use my talents.
