We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Faust and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michelle, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
There is power in storytelling. Our stories are at the core of everything we are and do. Our experiences shape us, give us values, teach us important lessons, they essentially mold and shape us for our career, family decisions, and give us our purpose and our why. Understanding our story is one thing, writing it down gives it great power and momentum. It can be a journey of healing or help us to better understand our passions, which may in fact change the course of what we do for a living. Understanding our story and sharing it on different stages attracts our market, connects us with like-minded people, and puts us in a position of authority in our space. If you want to live large, you must identify the story inside, craft it into an engaging tale, and share it with the world.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am the founder of Lemonade legend, a company offering both print and media exposure through an anthology series, digital magazine, a publishing house, podcast and virtual stages, and two upcoming TV shows. My ideal client is women (and a few brave men) who have lemonade stories to share and need a platform that shines the spotlight on them. The inception of The Lemonade Stand started with my own self-realization that I had a story myself of learning how to acquire a fearless attitude due to having a severe hearing loss which had impacted my own self-worth and created limiting beliefs. It’s a story full of vulnerability, courage, and learning how to cope in a world which values perfection by developing my alternative strengths. After 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, I elected to leap into the entrepreneurial world and follow my heart, which ultimately led to the creation of Lemonade Legend. My book anthology, The Lemonade Stand, is a passion project that not only provides a powerful resource for women struggling with their own lemonade challenges but is also emerging into a community of like-minded women who want to share, support, and lift up their sisters. My mission is to create the largest storytelling distribution network in the world, to give people a voice, share their stories, and elevate them above the conventional noise. I connect people with their stories and their stories with the world. There is power in storytelling, and my platforms celebrate the voice of entrepreneurs and small business owners who have tackled lemons and created amazing versions of lemonade opportunities. Lemonade Legend network features individuals who have a powerful vision that is stronger than their fear. I provides extensive media exposure to brand their strength and courage.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I grew up around Old Town Scottsdale and it will probably always be my favorite area to dine and drink. I also am a lover of the outdoors and locally we have so many beautiful hiking trails in the McDowell Mountains, Estrella Mountains, Apache Junction, 4 peaks. We also have world-class day spas (and golf but I’m not a golfer) If you have enough time for a visit statewide their is Sedona, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, and of course Cave Creek which still is pretty authentically a cowboy town.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
