Meet Nallely Pimentel | Journalist, Telly Awards Winner, Bestseller Author of “Become a Leader”.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nallely Pimentel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nallely, how do you think about risk?
Risk is a lifestyle. All my life since I have memory I felt my mother and family members from her side encourage me to get this “go for it” risky personality. Since I was 3 years old, the predominant in every adult at home was this brave attitude for everything.
My mother have 8 relatives between brothers and sisters and each of them took the risk to physically immigrate out of their own place to a different part of the country and another ones way more risky they jumped in a journey outside of the country as well. Immigrate its not easy, actually helps you to develop resilience and re built yourself over and over again. You learn how to blend and emerge to a new world. When things got rough the immigration factor, obligate you to re adjust as many times you need or life asked you for.
My origins reconnect with my childhood back in Mexico city one of the biggest cities in the world, as New York. My story have a lot to do with the winning mind set you need to set up since such a young age, conscious leadership applying to yourself implicate to be aware and in constant alert to create your own life career or path in life.
Risk for me includes having this constant non stopping learning mindset, hunger to look to try new things and adapt to new environments and contexts.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am very proud of creating the first bilateral agreements between my alma mater University Kino and my production company with operations in USA, Nallely Multimedia, to allow journalism students to have an international opportunity to practice their skills and polish what they want to do in the future o their careers.
Nallely Multimedia and Foro Social ” Tu Espacio Tu Perspectiva” been a product from all the great things I have learn in my journalism career in several networks as from several leaders they coach me and mentor me through life.
The advise I can give to the people who asked me how I got here, well I can say that taking short cuts never will lead you to a permanent balanced successful path, you will always fail, patience leads you to success and success takes courage and is a process to develop the skills you need to be competitive and visible to the networks you want to be in.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My itinerary, will be taking everyone to the the downtown night life in Tucson, hotel congress, playground or Hi 5 to dance and have fun dinner with loud music, also experience the Fox theater, the aviation museums, the city hall, with out missing the mission san xavier one of the most important touristic relic in the southwest of the country and catholic historic border.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
As a mentioned before, life is a gift and for me my own hero is my mother, she over come things that other people probably will see hard to over with. For example, her divorce or her extreme battle against Cancer in 3 different times in her life. The first time I was 10 years old, later on I was only 14 and the third time I was 22 years old and pregnant of my first child.
Along with that, she teaches me that life have lessons to learn and growth with, always there’s a message behind the challenge; and challenges are part of life so you can’t just avoid them. You face them, as many times life requires you do it!
To face any challenge whether is financial emotional or professional you must be “BRAVE” and when I said brave its not only say I will fight it back because I have to instead because I know will benefit me walking the process of my own personal growth.
My mother is the person I admired the most and she deserve that recognition from me.
Her virtue of courage gives me the chance to develop the person I became now. Understanding that Courage is the ability to confront any fear.
