We had the good fortune of connecting with Natty Beatts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natty, what do you want people to remember about you?
I would love to be able to lead the way in normalizing spirituality and spiritual practices, particularly when it comes to the entrepreneurial space and help people see that psychic development is the single greatest tool for personal growth and business expansion.

Unfortunately, there is a reasonably significant stigma surrounding the spiritual industry and spirituality in general, people have this set idea of crazy hippies waving around feathers dressed in kaftans. This is perpetuated by an unfortunately large number of “spiritual teachers” presenting themselves in such a stereotyped way that puts people off, me included.

Due to this lack of resonance between most “normal” people and the way spiritual teachings are often presented, there are literally thousands of amazing people out there that have incredible spiritual gifts but are not getting the guidance they need in order for them to reach their full potential, build a thriving business and make a huge positive impact on the world.

I am passionate about teaching everything in a grounded no-BS way and using language that anyone can understand and relate to, I also bridge the gap between science and spirituality by combining energy work and psychic development techniques with NLP.
This transposes to my clients who all then go out into the world also being able to talk about spirituality in a grounded way, run their businesses with integrity and do their part in normalising these life-changing practices.

The other way of normalizing spirituality is by being brave enough to speak publicly about my own experiences, which due to society’s general belief that if you hear voices you must be crazy, can be really scary sometimes but if it helps one other person feel a bit less scared, crazy or alone then it’s worth it!

I hope people remember me for helping them through huge life transformations, empowering them to make a difference in the world and making them laugh lots!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’ve run my own businesses for the last 12 years but I’ve been an entrepreneur my whole life, it started at a young age stealing peas from a nearby farmers’ field and selling them on the campsite I stayed at. I always knew I didn’t want a job and I am happily unemployable. I crave freedom and the ability to create and innovate constantly.

Due to my need for variety and general excitement for anything fun, I have changed and evolved my career path many times over the last decade. Job roles have included; rapper, palm reader, nightclub security, painter, cleaner and many more, all self-employed.
All of my experiences have made me the coach I am today, I didn’t learn how to run a business from a course or qualification, I learned by trying and trying again at many different ventures.

My first business projects were all music industry, running events or promoting other people’s, creating an all-female rap channel to help artists get seen without them having to pay any money (I always hated the pay-to-play model that discarded real talent) I also ran an underground rap competition across 4 cities with a huge list of affiliates and prizes, and mentored musicians in self-promotion, again to help talented artists open up opportunities in the industry.
I dipped out of the music industry in 2013 when I realized that all my business ventures were essentially expensive projects as all I wanted to do was help people and build something amazing, rather than actually make money to pay for important stuff like bills etc.

I joined a network market company as. health coach and worked at that for 2 years, learned a hell of a lot about business and marketing, and I loved helping people make huge life/health transformations but the copy and repeat model wasn’t for me.

When I moved to LA in 2015 I had my biggest business learning experience, I wanted to build a recording studio school to help young people out of gang culture and into music, I met a business partner who seemed to have all the right connections to help me and what started as a little dream turned into a multi-million dollar venture. This was all in principle of course, my business partner turned out to be a con-man and I spent a great deal of my inheritance learning some hard lessons. I also learned that all the glitz and glam of what society wants you to believe success looks like, doesn’t come close to making you happy as much as being around people who love you and doing something that feeds your soul- I cut my losses and flew home.

Over the next 6 years I worked on my fitness business (I had qualified as a PT just before I moved to LA), I also qualified as an NLP practitioner and really enjoyed helping people with their mental health as well as their physical. I built a successful business as a calisthenics coach and things really started to pick up, the BBC even did a mini-documentary on my life/business and brought me a lot of free publicity.

Then the pandemic hit in 2020 and my fitness business was wiped out, I went through an extreme trauma-induced spiritual awakening around the same time which opened up all of the psychic and healing abilities I work with today and I finally found what I was made for, no other ventures in the past gave me that feeling of being my true life’s purpose.
Between 2020-now I have worked as a healer and psychic and mentored others through awakening. My focus switched to psychic development in 2021 when I launched my online course “upgrade from within” and had 42 people sign up in 2 weeks. Later in 2021 I finally took the plunge of helping others with business- I have mentored so many people in this area over the years but never dared call myself a business coach or even charge for it due to imposter syndrome and low self-worth.

Running your own business isn’t easy and you need to constantly work on yourself in order to thrive. I have had so much NLP and various healing sessions over the years to help me become as resilient as I am now, I have had so many instances of having the rug pulled out from under me, feeling like a failure and wanting to quit but I knew the alternative was a sacrificing my freedom in the form of a job.

Since developing my psychic abilities I have gone from years of an uphill struggle, burn-outs and having to absolutely graft my *ss off to get anywhere, to being able to live in complete flow and fulfilment. This is why I am so passionate about teaching others to do the same and showing entrepreneurs that there is an easier way, one that doesn’t compromise your freedom, health or relationships with loved ones.

I may not have a huge house or a fast car but I am genuinely happy and fulfilled most of the time (we all have our ups and downs) I am able to spend time with friends and family whenever I want, I have amazing clients that I would happily hang out with as friends anytime and I never do anything I don’t want to.
This is my version of success, I live it every day and I love helping others achieve the same!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m assuming this section is about Arizona as where I live is a long way away!

Anywhere knew I would take friends to the nearest natural spaces and water for wild swims, I don’t enjoy places that are too crowded!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am so fortunate to have had some great mentors in my life, people whom without meeting them, I would nowhere near be the person I am today. I have a few that I call my A-team, these are the guys I go to when I need help with anything.. Tracey, Linda, Sam and Wolfgang. All of these fantastic humans are incredibly gifted and have such a wealth of experience between them, I am insanely grateful to call them all friends as well as mentors.

They have not only helped shape my career over the last few years, but helped hold me together through some very dark times so thankyou!
