Meet Nicholas White | Nicholas White | Actor & Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicholas White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicholas, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued a creative career in the arts field because I love being my own boss, and doing something fun. Acting requires me to express myself and be vulnerable to tell a story through the characters eyes. I love following my passion because along the way I know it will inspire others to go after their goals. I knew I was meant for more then a nine to five job, I believed God was calling me to go after the career that I wanted. I always use to see Disney stars on tv and always thought that looked so much fun. I started my first drama class and that’s when I fell in love with acting. Acting brought me so much joy and purpose to my life. It brought out that artistry’s in me that I never knew I had. People told me it wouldn’t work, but I continue and constantly hustle my way towards making all my goals come to reality. It allows me to show my talent and what I have to offer the world. I knew in my heart if I wanted more to life, I needed to come out my comfort zone and do something that truly makes me feel alive and fulfilled.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
The lessons I learned along my journey is to never give up when things get hard because if I had give up on my dream I never knew I would be able to booked a short film in a thriller as the lead role. I kept auditioning and auditioning and kept hearing a lot of no’s this discouraging me a lot because I felt like I wasn’t good enough or maybe this isn’t for me. Which brought my self esteem down, but then I got this sign from God which told me to keep going, and that’s when I got an email that changed everything for me. The director asked me if I would like to audition for this role I did it and found out the same hour that I booked it and I couldn’t believe my eyes. This inspired me to go even harder then ever. I learned so much that when you believe in yourself that anything is possible to achieve. No matter how hard the journey gets just remember there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Just keep fighting and believing. If I didn’t keep going then I wouldn’t of got an opportunity to be in a short film which led that opportunity to being in a music video and got more chances to meet more talent in the industry. A key lesson that I learned is to do what makes you happy and you will find the peace and joy your looking for.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friends were visiting the area for a week long trip. I would take them to Canada’s Wonderland because it has a lot of fun rides to go on. Also the food there taste amazing, for example the funnel fries are so delicious and sweet when it’s warm in your mouth. I would also take them to get Starbucks after Wonderland because Starbucks drinks taste so good, after one drink of coffee your hooked for life. The most fun place in my opinion to check out would be Niagara Falls because it has so much things you can do there and a lot of yummy food to eat. And the view of the Niagara Falls is breathtaking, which makes you just want to jump in the water in front of the falls, taking Instagram photos. The ride I would suggest going on would have to be go karting. It’s just a lot of fun to do with your friends and family.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout-out to one of my closest friend Sharany. She’s been with me through all my struggles, success and always hyping me up. When I feel like giving up she’s always there for me and gives me words of advice. She truly is one of the best humans I met and I’m so grateful for all the love she has showed me over the years. We met in grade 9 and she’s been there from the start, being my number 1 cheerleader. Everyone needs a friend like Sharany, she’s super supportive in everything I do and I can’t thank her enough.
