We had the good fortune of connecting with Nubianz Goddess and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nubianz, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
My career has taught me to never give up and that times will get tough. Any time in life where I was facing hardship I found ways to heal while acknowledging my struggles, but through that I never gave up. Pushing through those struggles helped me elevate and become better than who I was before times got hard.

Nothing comes easy but with time and persistence you will achieve.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Music is my number one passion. My Grandmother prophesied that I would be born with a voice to spread a powerful message. Since birth I have always used my voice to sing, communication on a deeper level, and spread my message. My goal in life is to embody and spread Self Acceptance & Self Love. With my music I write to express my mission and influence growth in others.Modeling is another passion of mine that I utilize to spread my message. By pushing the limit on creativity and embracing my body I am able to encourage others. I have also started a small business for spiritual healing and organic skin care. It is a very fresh endeavor with many lessons on the way. Some lessons I’ve learned through all of my endeavors is that hard work pays off. I have also learned that road blocks will come. I know that every block leads to a lesson so I keep my head up and keep pushing. Lastly I have learned to trust in the process. Everything that is for me will be. I stay persistent and appreciate the journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am naturally a home body with spurts of wanting to have some fun outside. If I had someone visiting for a week I would want to spend quality time. Unless my guest asked to go out, I would plan some time at home cooking, playing games, catching up. I enjoy artistic activities and so do my friends so maybe a at home paint and sip, creating music together, add in some meditation and hiking when weather permits. If my friend asked to go out or something is going on in the city, I would check out some local artists and poets. In St. Louis we have some adult arcade spots and nice places to eat. Sunday Brunch would be a must!

Catch some mimosas at Rooster on Grande or Chris on the Docket downtown.
