Meet Oksana Holder | Family Law Attorney

We had the good fortune of connecting with Oksana Holder and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Oksana, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I am a family law attorney in Scottsdale and I am often representing people who had lost their voice during their relationship and being able to empower them drives me. I believe that every person has a purpose in life; I found my own true purpose at the age of 30. I have always felt like I was born to be a “protector” of the ones who cannot stand up for themselves and that protector instinct translates directly into my work. I treat my client’s problems as if they were my own. I fight for my client’s children and their money as my own. My client’s needs always come first. That is my secret sauce. I also believe that the energy of money follows your passion so if you do what you are meant to do in this life, the other pieces fall into place.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As an immigrant to the United States, there were some hurdles when I first began my new life here. However, after all these years of hard work and building my career, I am proud to say that I do not do any marketing except for local word of mouth. If you do good in your work, that good will come back to you tenfold. The lesson in my field is to treat every client as if he or she is the only client you have. When that attitude is at the core of how you work, you can overcome any challenge that a case (or life!) may throw at you.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with having dinner at Roka Akor in Scottsdale. After a great meal, I would definitely follow it up with hiking Tom’s Thumb Trail to take in the view of the entire valley. We could finish the weekend off by driving up to Sedona for the vortex points and doing a scenic hike at the West Fork Oak Creek Trail.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
“Juicing the Orange” by Pat Fallon is the book every entrepreneur must read. Do not be limited in your outlook. If you surround yourself with the right people and the right tools, you will start thinking outside the box and can reach your true potential.
