We had the good fortune of connecting with Pepper Brooks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pepper, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor has to be hands down consistency. I have always felt that continued hard work is the key to everything.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have a hard time talking about myself. However that being said I can say my work ethic is with out a doubt a key factor in what separates me from others. I am learning constantly and never think I know to much that I can not still be taught a new thing.
I honestly love creating music, writing and telling stories through songs. Crowd energy is huge for me. It definitely makes things way more fun.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For sure catch some live shows down town. Kayaking and Golf would for sure be on the list as well. We would sample the tastes of the town. Way to many to choose from.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It would be so hard to single anyone out. Most of my victories have come from working through great failures. There has always been someone to come before and pave the way so to speak. I have to say most of my encouragement has came from Family, Friends and Fans.
