Meet Queen Jordii | Jewelry Designer, Motivational Speaker & Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Queen Jordii and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Queen, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think taking risks is something that we all have to do if we wish to become successful in life. It’s impossible to level up if we shy away from taking risks and I believe I have always understood that. When I separated from the Air Force in 2018, I used my last paycheck to fund the start-up of my business. I had no business knowledge and it was definitely risky to splurge my last on inventory and so much more.

At that time I also had a 6 month old child. It was such a huge risk to leave my military career behind to become a stay at home mom then a business owner just one month later. Was it worth it though? Definitely! I never would’ve known what would’ve happened if I didn’t take the leap.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
QueenJordii’s Gems is centered around uniquely handmade Gemstone creations that are created my me. I really love what I do and I have been making jewelry and delving into other creative projects since childhood. What makes

QueenJordii’s Gems stand out is the fact that I make all my pieces intentionally with my customers (also known as my Gems) in mind.

I love getting to know my Gems a little bit before I create their custom pieces because I get to identify the issues they are struggling with and utilize this knowledge to intentionally create meaningful jewelry. The Gemstones I use in my creations are authentic and I use gemstones that help my Gems with whatever issues they are facing at the moment.

I am most proud of how much my brand has grown in just 2.5 years! I am forever grateful for my amazing Gems that trust me to adorn them in QueenJordii’s Gems jewelry! My creativity is always being pushed to the limits and this really excites me because I never truly know what I’m capable of until I am finished creating it.

Professionally, I owe my business growth to my tunnel vision and consistency. Most days, I am up in the wee hours of the morning, working on my craft. I stay focused on my own business and I don’t compare my craft or business to others.

Has business been super easy for me? Not really. I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs just like any other business owner. My top two areas of stress is probably juggling being a single mom and running a business full-time and the fact that I sometimes struggle with anxiety. I have learned the hard way that it is healthy to have a life outside of my business and that it is totally okay to rest and take breaks. Now I take breaks and find adequate self-care time every week instead of waiting until I get the point of burnout.

I want the world to know that QueenJordii’s Gems is built on a foundation of love and good vibes and that I love all my Gems so much!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were in the area and I wanted to show her the best time ever, I’d take her to what I like to call “Maricopa’s Hidden Treasure”. I am referring to the Stagestop Marketplace and this plaza is located at 44301 W Maricopa- Grande Highway in Maricopa. I call it “Maricopa’s Hidden Treasure” because many of Maricopa’s residents have no idea about this place or what is actually inside of it. I actually had no idea that this place existed until shortly before QueenJordii’s Gems became apart of this community.

This plaza has a very relaxing atmosphere and AC for the super hot days. It is the perfect place to roam about and shop for unique handmade jewelry & crafts, pick up some flowers for your loved ones, get tatted up with your besties, book a yoga session or much need escape in the Himalayan Salt Room, get your cravings for sweet treats satisfied, get your hair done and even get your doggies groomed!

Shoutout to my daughter, Journee! I wake up with increased motivation daily and that is because of you. I would also like to recognize my amazing friends for helping me through the rough patches and for being there for me.
