We had the good fortune of connecting with Queen Yonni and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Queen, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success of Jewelry Sol is having the unconditional support of my team. Without them, we would not be as far as we are now. No, we are not at our final goal yet, but as we continue to grow together, we are always thriving for better. There is a saying: “If you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together.” We live by that motto, others should as well.
What should our readers know about your business?
Our motto ‘Time to feel confident, positive, and bold. SHINE with Jewelry Sol’ is the message we put into the universe to positively empower the individual that wears our jewelry. Jewelry Sol is not just another jewelry company that sells handmade jewelry for profit. We enjoy investing our time and genuineness into creating personal and meaningful connections with our supporters. Each piece is delicately selected, tested, and created through an elaborate process of trial, error, and success.
Jewelry Sol is excited to be growing. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future of the company and the individuals we touch. JS started small and now we are growing more and more, which is vey exciting and welcoming.
We hope to have future projects that connect and give back to the community. Creating JS was not always an easy process but you must have patience, consistency, and a great support system.
Lessons have been learned and as a result we stick to ‘keep it simple, keep it pushing.’ Practicing this tactic helps keep things simple and avoid unnecessary stress. Keep your mental physical health strong, positive, and intact. Also do not be afraid to ask for help. There are so many people who are willing to help support your dream. Lastly, always be willing to learn, then teach what you’ve learned to others.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d probably say I’d take them to church. *laughs*
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I first give thanks to Thee Most Highest, then my husband Terrell – He has supported me on every venture I decided to pursue. With his advice, opinions, and help, he has pushed me to stick with what I love to do and enjoy the process of doing it. Thank you to my mother, mother in-law, and children for their unconditional love and support.
Next would be my two little sisters, Eden and Trinity the Queen Soldiers who I admire and learn so much from. Both have their hands deep in the pot with grace, love, and faith and have dedicated a lot to Jewelry Sol. Marchelle and the whole Jewelry Sol model team which is growing- They each play a huge role in where we are today and I am personally grateful for each of them. They help keep Jewelry Sol shining.
Janelle and her modeling and photography team through JNM Talent – Janelle, my business and creative partner, has supported me since day one before my creation of Jewelry Sol was brought to life. I trust her when it comes to organizing events for Jewelry Sol and my other adventures. She has curated an amazing team of models and photographers and I am grateful to have them in my corner for support.
Anjum- Thank you for always capturing our amazing moments. You’re creativity is unlimited like you.
Everyone we have collaborated with in the past and in the future.
Everyone else who has supported us in any type of way – There is a long list, and we thank you and appreciate you all for seeing the vision and believing in Jewelry Sol and the team. THANK YOU.
