Meet Rachel Leintz | Co-Founder, Chief Fairy Dust Sprinkler

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Leintz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachel, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
Our end goal is to revolutionize the wedding industry, not just here in Arizona, but across the entire country. We’re building Wed&Done as a platform that transforms wedding planning into an experience that’s enjoyable, accessible, and stress-free for every couple. Together, we envision a future where Wed&Done sets a new national standard, making the wedding planning journey seamless while preserving the personal touches that make each wedding unique. By the end of our careers, we hope Wed&Done becomes a household name, known for bringing ease, joy, and a bit of magic into the wedding planning process, helping couples everywhere create unforgettable moments without the usual stress

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Wed&Done was born out of our desire to simplify the wedding planning process and make it more accessible, efficient, and enjoyable for couples. Unlike traditional planners, Wed&Done is a fully digital experience that takes couples through every logistical step of their wedding journey—from booking venues and selecting florals to coordinating catering and photographers—essentially handling 90% of the planning so couples can focus on the moments that matter. We call it ‘wedding doing’ because we’re not just planning; we’re making things happen.
One of our biggest challenges has been educating the wedding market about this new approach. While many couples and industry professionals are used to a more traditional planning process, Wed&Done offers something entirely different. It’s a technology-driven path, designed to take away the overwhelm and bring joy back into planning. Getting people to understand the convenience and peace of mind our platform brings has taken time, but we’re making headway by consistently showing the benefits of our system.
The journey to this point hasn’t been easy. We’ve had to work tirelessly to refine our messaging and demonstrate how our technology can make wedding planning better, not just faster. Along the way, we’ve learned the importance of persistence, adaptability, and listening to the needs and hesitations of our audience.
At the end of the day, we want the world to know that Wed&Done is here to redefine wedding planning by making it accessible and enjoyable. We’re not just creating a platform; we’re creating a movement to bring ease, joy, and magic back into an industry that can often feel daunting. Our goal is to ensure that every couple, no matter their background or budget, can have a seamless, memorable planning experience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the East Valley, I’d make sure they experienced the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and a little local flair. Here’s how the week would look:
Day 1: We’d kick things off with a morning hike at Usery Mountain Regional Park. The views are incredible, and it’s a great intro to the Arizona landscape. For lunch, we’d head to Liberty Market in Gilbert, where the local vibe and great food would set the tone for the week.
Day 2: To mix things up, we’d grab brunch at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. This spot is like stepping back in time with its mid-century architecture and funky decor, but the rooftop pool and amazing views bring it right back to the present. We’d spend the afternoon lounging by the pool and maybe head to nearby Old Town Scottsdale for dinner at The Mission, where the modern Latin cuisine never disappoints.
Day 3: Time for another hike! We’d hit up the Peralta Trail in the Superstitions—it’s a bit challenging but worth it for the stunning views of Weaver’s Needle. After the hike, we’d stop for dinner at OHSO Brewery in Gilbert, with their dog-friendly patio and locally brewed beers.
Day 4: Mid-week calls for some relaxation, so we’d spend the day in downtown Tempe, starting with a walk along Tempe Town Lake. For lunch, we’d check out Culinary Dropout, and that night, we’d catch a comedy show at Tempe Improv. They bring in top talent, and there’s always something fun happening there.
Day 5: Back to the outdoors! This time, we’d explore Lost Dutchman State Park. It’s a classic Arizona experience with rugged terrain and cactus-dotted landscapes. We’d cap off the day with a visit to Queen Creek Olive Mill for dinner and a little local olive oil tasting.
Day 6: For a more laid-back day, we’d brunch at Postino’s in Tempe and do some vintage shopping around the area. Then, we’d swing by the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix to enjoy the desert flora and some stunning art installations. Dinner that night would be at Four Peaks Brewing Company, where we’d savor some local brews and hearty food.
Day 7: We’d end the week with a relaxing day at the spa back at Hotel Valley Ho—maybe book a massage or two to wrap up the trip in style. Then, for the grand finale, we’d have a sunset dinner at Rustler’s Rooste, where the views of the Valley are unbeatable, and the vibe is truly Arizona.
Each day would mix the natural beauty of the East Valley with its vibrant food, drink, and entertainment spots, capturing what makes this area so unique. There’s truly no shortage of fun, interesting, and exciting places to explore here!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our journey with Wed&Done wouldn’t be possible without the people who’ve supported us every step of the way. First, I want to recognize my cofounder, Karen Podrasky. Karen’s patience and measured approach have been an incredible balance to my own drive and energy, allowing us to move forward thoughtfully and sustainably. Her dedication and steady hand have been invaluable to our success, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner to bring this vision to life.
I also want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my husband, Travis. His unwavering support and belief in our company have been the foundation of Wed&Done from day one. Without his encouragement, trust, and willingness to stand by us through every high and low, this journey wouldn’t be possible. His faith in what we’re building means the world, and I’m endlessly grateful for his role in this story.
Together, Karen and Travis have been the steady pillars of support that make all of this possible, and I’m honored to share this journey with them.
