We had the good fortune of connecting with Rashell Jarvis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rashell, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I am an AZ girl born and raised! I grew up in the sunny state in Mesa, AZ!

I would like to share about my parents so you can see where I am at today and where I am going has been designed by the impact of my 2 amazing parents.

My dad is from El Salvador, so I am first generation on his side. My father name is Francisco. He goes Chico! He came to the United Stated in his twenties speaking no english to a foreign county. Had ambitions to get a degree and eventually marry and start a family. My dad enrolled in 4 year university and I remember distinctly, the story of him using a dictionary to translate his books, and syllabus where he ended up graduating with a degree in economics. My dad is the entrepreneur and always had a side hustle. Talk about determination and perseverance!!

My mom oh man she is the ultimate form of a GIRL BOSS! She was brought up on an Indian Reservation in Northern AZ and left her home for the first time to attend college out of state. She met my dad in college married and shortly after began raising a family. While being a stay at home she got her Doctorate Degree in Transpersonal Psychology AND started a non-profit organization that was nationally recognized! Being her daughter I knew realized what a huge accomplishment that was until I had my own family. She raise 3 kids with all the chaos, went to school and start an organization that she was passionate about. This is where I learned determination, self empowerment and girls can do it all!

I had to mention their journey so you can understand the impact my parents had in my life. As we know the road to entrepreneurship is not easy! It requires grit, consistency, a strong mind set, determination and perseverance that I inherited from my parents. I am fortunate to have started a national real estate business from the ground up. Lots of highs and lows. Many lessons learned, but I am here still preserving and excited to be scaling my businesses with my partner’s for many years to come.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have been in real estate the last 15 years. I started off during the short sale time being a transaction coordinator for a broker. In that brokerage I started doing contracts for teams and I happened to be really good at it. I built rapport with the clients sellers or buyers and one day someone said, Rashell why do you not have your license. I got my license 2 months later. I fell in love with getting the listing from the sellers and remained a listing agent for many years. I am a student of life always wanting to grow and learn. One day I heard a conversation where my broker bought a property AS-IS, cash for a discount price and I needed to know more! I made the decision to move into the investor space so I can learn creative finance to build cash flow and wealth. As soon as the opportunity opened with a team I jumped on it and was hired the same day. I had been manifesting this opportunity so I was ready! I was thrown into managing a team and handling contracts and the process from start to finish. I spent endless hours and time studying and educating myself in the world of creative real estate. I have had many great mentors along the way! I started reaching out to lawyers and title companies all over the US building relationships and understanding how real estate was operated in as many states as I could. My knowledge and skillset grew and so did my clientele. I realized that there was huge need in helping investors new to the creative space of real estate or investors who were brand new to investing, by helping them to apply what they’ve learned walking them step by step through the process. We helped them take action! Thats where I decided to make a business out of it and Constant Close was born. The first year of business there were a lot of learning curves and growing pains but I knew that came with the territory of owning a business. I stayed disciplined with my vision that relationships matter and my focus, that was to always provide an experience for our clients. The experience aligned with my values of being an instrument to help others create wealth in their lives. Its not just about the money it about buying back your freedom! We stand apart in the industry from our knowledge in niche investing strategies our network and more importantly we are built off a foundation where our focus is not solely on closing the sale but where we value relationships first. Our clients are better investor after they do a transaction with us. Investors have the tools to close many more deals and understand the possibilities and options to create wealth to buy back your time! Time is something you never get back, so why not spend your time doing dope shit with the ones you love!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Winter in AZ are why people move here! So many things to do. Start off the morning hiking at any of the amazing trails in the valley. Go out to dinner in the growing area of Downtown Gilbert or Chandler. Where there are many choices for great food and entertainment! Have a spa day and one of our many beautiful resorts in Scottsdale. Head up to Flagstaff or Sunrise to hit the slopes and enjoy the day in the snow. This is one thing I love about AZ are all the activities available especially during this cooler time of the year.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband Daniel. He is my main confident and business partner. He is always dependable in encouraging me to keep pushing through, to not give up and is present in all the highs and lows. I could not do what I do without his support and unconditional love for me and our 5 kids. Love you Jarvis!
