Meet RCC | Music Group

We had the good fortune of connecting with RCC and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi RCC, why did you pursue a creative career?
We grew up around music. Our parents were both musicians and they toured the world. We were blessed enough to be able to watch them perform on stage, move a crowd, and navigate the music industry. Observing them in their craft inspired us to pursue a career in music. The way people respond to music and how music can make you feel, really drives our love for music.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets us apart from any other musician is what separates each and everyone of us. Everyone has their own story and perspective, so we allow that to drive our creativity. We’ve learned that when we are our authentic selves, we are at our best. Our goal has never been to try to cater to a certain topic or idea, we just do what comes naturally to us and let that be great. Our group consists of siblings that rap, sing, write our own music and play instruments. When performing we can go from doing acoustic sets to performing in hip hop clubs. Our multiple genres of music appeal to a variety of audiences and provides us the opportunity to reach a diverse group of people. We have a unique ability to captivate an audience by incorporating humor, dancing, rapping, emotions, singing harmonies and catchy songs.
We are where we are today because of the hard work and the hours we put into it. A mixture of talent and hard work is what we believe will get us to where we want to be in our music career. That allows us to overcome all our challenges. Persistence and consistency is key. One of the most impactful things we’ve done is being consistent. Everyday is a new opportunity for us to improve, network and inspire someone to work towards their dreams like we are.
During our journey, we had to overcome a few challenges. We learned that in spite of people enjoying our music, it’s not easy getting people to get up and go out to shows. Building that loyal following through social media is something that didn’t come easy. We are passionate about writing, performing, and creating, so our goals never really included trying to make social media a massive part of it. We just really have a genuine love for music, but we understand how important social media is at this day and age. We are now using all platforms to reach a massive audience.
We want the world to recognize our brand (RCC) as something positive and influential. A brand that will challenge you to strive for greatness and encourage you to not be afraid to be yourself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would all go to a comedy show, ride electric scooters, sight seeing in Sedona at one of the hiking spots, and check out Tempe Town Lake. We would eat at ATL wings, Hot N Juicy, Steak 44 and Harumi Sushi!
Maybe check out Flagstaff for the snow and Jerome for the shops and experience.
Escape the room is very popular, so I would take my friends there as well.
Lastly, we would go to a live music show to support some local bands.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
