We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda Larson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhonda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my business is continuity of care. What I mean by that is that I’m a boutique salon and I’m the only esthetician there. This allows me to know my clients, know their skin and what works for them. Compared to a large business where a client may see a different professional every time, the consistency of working one on one with them allows me to truly customize their treatment. This builds a relationship of trust and people feel comfortable referring their friends and family.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love what I’m doing with skincare. I feel passionate about it and feel like I strive for excellence in my business. I love helping people feel better about themselves. Becoming an esthetician was something I always wanted to do and worked hard in school to have top grades and top sales. I’ve pushed myself to really understand the anatomy of skin and that has helped me be able to problem solve for my clients and what treatments to recommend.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Boca Taqueria Riparian Preserve in Gilbert
Saguaro Lake
Tempe Town Lakes
Hale Theatre
Dining at Old Town Gilbert

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Image Skincare has played a role in providing excellent products to help me achieve great skincare results. They offer great training on products and how to customize the products for different skin types.
