We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda Peoples and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhonda, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Empowering Women Alliance opens the door for women to find their voices and share their stories with the world. The more stories are told the stronger voices become, we start to come out of our heads and into our hearts!! Once we connect to our hearts we experience our true authentic voices while being responsible for our communication. As women drop the shackles that have been holding them back from living a fully expressed life, they step into their communities to expand their love, authenticity, bring communities together and create growth in the world.
As women are fully self expressed they are now reaching financial level they have never known before and contribute back into their communities!!!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am self employed. I worked many years for others and realized it was time to step into the power of me. I have been in the sales industry all of my life. I love working with people. I spent 22 years in the automotive industry as a Finance Director. I gave up years of my life, missed all of my sisters wedding, missed most of my daughters events in school. I made very good money, paid other to take care of all the things that I did not have time to do, because of the hours that I worked. I started the automotive industry as a single mother, without a car, living in a hotel room for the first several months of my career there. It was tough, my internal drive had been ignited, I was proving that I could do it, I was proving that I could be better than anyone else. I managed and at the end of my automotive experience, I had built a 5,000 square foot custom home, drove a Lexus, had all the shoes and purses that a woman would want! But inside, I was not happy.
Something was still missing, I still had the conversations in my head that I was not good enough and no one wanted to hear what I had to say…I was self sabotaging my world. Believing my stories in my head.
When I left the automotive industry, I looked around, I was shocked by all the talented women stopped by limiting self beliefs. I knew that I could help them, as I had started sharing my stories and healing the inside, I could do that for others. Empowering Women Alliance makes Global contribution, Self Empowerment and Authentic Connection possible for women. Our platform allows for the natural progression of self-discovery through writing. We started with a book and now have a GLOBAL ALLIANCE!! Join us

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the mountains of AZ!!! Go to the mountains and climb, walk and just “be”. You can visit Kit Peak, Tanque Verde Falls and ride The Loop River Path throughout Tucson. You certainly want to experience down town Tucson, so visit downtowntucson.org and get involved!! There are many historical building in Downtown Tucson and there is something called the Turquois Trail that will walk you through all of the history of Tucson. As you experience Downtown Tucson you will want to schedule all of your meals for the weekend that you attend because the cuisine of Tucson is remarkable. From Street Tacos, Reilly Craft Pizza, The Hub and a classy evening at Maynard’s, it will delight your tongue! Now that you have day events and places to eat you will not want to miss the Fox theatre, Hotel Congress, Tucson symphony Orchestra, UofA arts to finish off the evening you can walk through the street of Downtown and take in all the of the evening entertainment right on the streets of Tucson.
As you venture out of Downtown Tucson and start to head up the hill of Oracle road, on your way to the beautiful Catalina mountains you must stop at The Parish, another wonderful food opportunity!! Bike riding , horseback riding, hiking, camping, there is really nothing that you cant do in Tucson….well except for going to the beach!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It has been through my work within Landmark Worldwide that I have been able to discover my self expression and true authentic voice. They offer so many different programs within their organization that allow people to discover blind spots and to extend ourselves in ways that we never thought possible. I have been in a 2 year program called Team Management and Leadership program, which is a high level training and development course. It is in this course that I created my idea of writing a book. I shared with other women and created a collaborative book, and now this team of women and I have created a business called Empowering Women Alliance.  Finally, I would like to recognize my husband who is the backbone of support for me in my life and all that I am.  Our partnership is the genesis of the love we are for others. I also would like to thank all of the women in my life that contribute to me daily and are the drive that Iam for women being fully self expressed!!
