Hi Robert, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I found myself at a crossroads in my manufacturing career. I was working 12-14 hour days, seven days a week, and even on vacation, I was tied to my phone, taking customer calls. This demanding schedule put me on a path where I was prioritizing my job over my family, a reality that I knew I had to change. I yearned for more time with my growing family and less focus on my job.

I also feared that my career was unstable, which made the thought of not being able to provide for my family even more daunting. I knew a traditional 9-to-5 job likely wouldn’t offer the flexibility I craved.

In 2017, while still searching for a new path, my wife started her own wedding and event planning business. Through her networking, we were introduced to the financial services industry. What started as an accidental and inspired journey, rather than a planned one, became a turning point. If my wife hadn’t started her business, I might never have looked beyond my preconceived ideas of what a “normal job” was. That single networking opportunity opened my eyes to a new world and led me to the career I have today, allowing me to finally align my professional life with my personal priorities.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our move into the financial services industry was not planned—it was forged out of necessity and frustration. As clients of another firm, my wife and I experienced firsthand the confusion and disappointment that comes from misleading information. This forced us to “start over” on our financial journey.

That personal experience is the core of our brand. It gives us a deep empathy for families who feel lost, misled, or financially uneducated. We understand the emotion behind your money, because we’ve been there.

Our passion is to empower families through education, helping them conquer debt and leverage tools and services to secure their future and build generational wealth.

In an industry often criticized for lacking integrity, we are committed to building our reputation on four pillars:

When I first transitioned into this business, I was admittedly hardheaded. I made the process difficult for myself by allowing excuses to override my ambition. Achieving our vision required more than just desire—it took discipline.

My wife’s unwavering support, a consistent effort to show up every day, and a final, frustrating day at my prior management position were the necessary catalysts. That moment made me realize the future we discussed was within reach, but only if I got serious.

We are family-focused, and our goal extends far beyond our own practice.

A main focus for us is expanding our impact by training new leaders to achieve their own professional goals while impacting families with the same level of integrity. This is how we are building our legacy: helping others leave an inheritance for their children’s children.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, the ‘best time ever’ for us means one thing: getting our families together. Since we’re both family-oriented, the first thing I’d do is make sure his older kids are tagging along. We don’t need a fancy outing; we’d simply hang out at either of our houses and enjoy some relaxed, quality time together and catch up.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to express my gratitude to the God I serve for guiding me on this journey of self-improvement. He blessed me with a wonderful wife Hesok and my son, RB3 and daughter Zayin who are my daily motivation to become a better man.
