We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Sab and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ryan, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.

My main goal is to create amazing, long-lasting music for everyone, and to inspire millions of people all around the world with my songs. Through my songwriting and lyrics, I want to connect with audiences of all ages and create art that resonates with each and every one who listens to it. As I continue along my musical journey and career, I plan to continue doing what I love to do most – perform. Performing for a live audience is my passion. It fulfills me. I find it exhilarating to play to a crowd and I’m most at home on stage!

My ultimate goal is to headline arena tours throughout the country and, eventually, the world! I want to create live music experiences that make people smile and inspire them to follow their dreams. Making music is something I see myself doing for the rest of my life. I want my songs to have a positive impact on the world and our culture. Music is powerful and has the ability to influence people. So, if my music can help others learn about themselves and connect with others, then I will consider myself successful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

My interest in music started at a young age. I began taking guitar lessons when I was five and vocal lessons at 13. I participated in the jazz band at school for seven years and even played the saxophone for a while. I’ve always loved music, but I didn’t realize I wanted to pursue it professionally until a few years ago. However, once I discovered that, I became fully-committed and started writing my own songs.

Something that sets me apart from everyone else is my originality. I’m determined to always stay true to myself and my art, and this is exemplified through my songwriting and style.

In 2022, I released my debut original single, “Dream.” It’s a very personal song to me about my music-related goals and where I want my passion for music to lead me. The song officially introduced me to the world, while inspiring those in it to pursue their own personal dream – whatever that dream may be. My songs reflect events and feelings from my own life, but are also relatable to the lives and experiences of my followers, supporters and listeners. Sharing my gift is something that I’m very proud of and enjoy doing, no matter how big or small the venue. Just as long as I’m performing for others, I’m happy.

I’ve performed socially-distanced concerts for the community during the covid lockdown, provided live music for numerous charity events, and entertained guests at local festivals, restaurants and private parties. The positive feedback I receive and the smiles on the faces of those who listen to my music are what keep me inspired. I want to brighten the lives of as many people as I can, even if I never know how much one of my songs could mean to them.

My music and artistry are a priority in my life. I’m still in school full-time, so pursuing music means I have to make sacrifices and miss out on some normal teenage things, but it’s totally worth it. I love the road that I am traveling on. I’m confident that my pursuit of music will help me fulfill my ultimate Dream.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I was fortunate to visit Phoenix this year during Super Bowl weekend when the city was brimming with excitement. I had a wonderful vacation at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa and would recommend these accommodations to anyone who is looking to relax, play some golf and enjoy the pools and waterpark.

One of the highlights for me was the resort’s attentiveness and ability to safely accommodate my multiple food allergies. The property is adjacent to South Mountain Park and Preserve, a beautiful park with an expansive collection of hiking trails. I don’t do much hiking at home, but I was easily able to navigate the terrain and was amazed by the numerous types of cacti that enhanced the beauty of the trails. A short walk from the property led me to In-N-Out Burger, which is not available on the east coast. Admittedly, I visited more than once! For me, eating there was equivalent to someone visiting my hometown (near Philadelphia) and trying a real “Philly” cheesesteak.

I explored downtown Phoenix and really enjoyed taking pictures by many of the colorful murals that decorate the buildings. I also visited Hance Park and enjoyed a music festival there with great live entertainment and a multitude of food vendors. When I go back to Arizona, I’ll definitely be checking out some of the other cool events hosted there throughout the year!

Rawhide Western Town is a truly unique destination that surprised me. I attended a private event there and immediately felt like I was transported to the Wild West! There were so many areas of this “town” to explore and it’s a great destination for kids, too.

For me, the most impressive thing about Phoenix is how clean the city is. Arizona greets their guests with beautiful landscapes, colorful buildings, friendly faces, and an abundance of live music. I can’t wait to return and see what else Arizona has to offer!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

First and foremost, I would not be where I am today without my amazing vocal coach and music manager, Joe Clayton, at JBCMUSIC management. Joe is a renowned vocal coach and one of the most hard-working, genuine people I know! In 2019, I was introduced to Joe through a mutual family friend and began working with him on my professional vocal training and artist development. Since then, Joe has led me on an incredible path of growth and success, and continues to be instrumental in my musical journey. He has a kind soul and a passion for music that runs through his blood. I’m so honored to have Joe coach and guide me through it all, and am grateful for his unconditional belief in me and my dream.

I also want to acknowledge my parents and sister for all of the hard work, time and dedication they have put in to supporting me and my music from the beginning. Ever since receiving my first guitar when I was five, my parents and sister have been nothing but encouraging and supportive of my path to becoming a performer and recording artist. They believe in me always and are my biggest fans! I will never be able to thank them enough for all that they do.

I would like to recognize Dave Allen, my guitar teacher, who always pushes me to think about unique chord progressions. I would also like to give a shoutout to all of the venues and charitable organizations who have asked me to provide entertainment for their guests and events. Their confidence in me has strengthened my desire to perform.
