Meet Samantha Briguglio | Naturopathic Doctor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Samantha Briguglio and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Samantha, what inspires you?
I feel like there are so many different ways to answer this question, however, professionally, I am inspired by those who take an interest in their health, not only when they are sick, but preventatively. Nowadays I feel like it is so easy to reach for the “quick-fix” and much harder to put in the work to heal the root cause naturally. It takes months, sometimes years, to reach health goals. However, when people do reach their goals, they will feel much better than they would have with the “quick fix” – and will continue to – because they created sustainable lifestyle habits that will serve them for the rest of their lives
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a naturopathic doctor that speciziles in hormone health and fertility. What sets me apart from many practitioners is that I treat the root cause of hormonal imbalance or infertility through natural medicine. I focus on healing the whole person with diet, lifestyle, supplements, and herbs. My work with patients is my greatest passion in life. My goal is to make sure each one of my patients is truly heard so that we can create an individualized treatment plan based on their needs.
I started my own practice 14 months ago. This has always been a dream of mine, and I had a plan in motion before I even graduated from medical school. It has not been easy, but it has been worth it. My story of how I got here begins when I was a child. I was pretty ill as a kid. I was on breathing treatments, a lot of medications, and in and out of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. When they wanted to perform surgery, my mom finally said no, and that is when she found naturopathic medicine. They discovered that I had severe allergies and that they were causing many of my major health issues. It took a while, but with the treatments they prescribed, I began to heal. I still deal with many allergies, but I am no longer taking medications or breathing treatments. Naturopathic medicine has brought me to a place of confidence, peace, and health. This medicine saved me from living a version of my life on medications and fear. This medicine saved my live, and I’m constantly inspired to share this way of life with others and help them reach their goals.
