We had the good fortune of connecting with Sandamini Devi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sandamini, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The people who are on your team are the face and engine of your company. Without them, its a slow slog. People who believe in what they are doing, are willing to sacrifice for the whole instead of individual desires. In todays self centered climate, its rare to find generous and giving people, but when you do and further train them in principal of non violence, cleanliness, truthfulness, spirituality and a charitable mind, you have a winning team. People you love to be with and people who will sacrifice themselves for the common goals established.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My own spiritual discipline is very important to me. It inspires me to get up early each morning and face the day with a song in my heart ready for any challenge. I love whet I do and the people around me. I was pretty passionate when i was younger and sometimes wasn’t the best nurturing person, but over time I actually like doing that the best. One on one with others assisting them and helping them in their own struggles and finding solutions for problems

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Id take them to Mt Lemmon – only an hour drive to 9,000 + feet. Its another world. To Sabino Canyon, ride the tram and get off and swim in the natural ponds, picnic in the rocks. A real taste of nature and the desert beauty. A stop at St Xavier, some history of the old west and a religious holy spot active and thriving today .So much to see and do in the Sonoran Desert.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient book of wisdom that I rely on daily. Its a moral barometer that speaks on hard choices we all have to make. It explains universal truths to live by and take shelter in.
