Hi Sarah, what matters most to you?
Authenticity!

In today’s crowded marketplace, authenticity has become a vital principle for brands aiming to connect with their audiences. To me, authenticity means being true to your values, mission, and promises. This transparency fosters trust and loyalty among consumers, which is more important than ever.

When a brand embodies authenticity, it communicates a clear and consistent message that resonates deeply with its target audience. Consumers are increasingly looking for brands that reflect their own values and beliefs. Authentic brands don’t just sell products; they tell compelling stories, share meaningful experiences, and engage in genuine conversations.

My work with MoonstoneSeven is deeply personal, and I take pride in the fact that I am not a “me too” brand. Every product I create is unique to my brand, setting it apart from the rest. I’ve always believed that originality is key, and that’s what drives me to innovate and offer something special to my customers.

My journey has been shaped by a combination of faith and hard work. I gained many of the skills I use today during my college years and through various professional experiences. I’ve taken those lessons and applied them directly to MoonstoneSeven, allowing me to build something truly meaningful.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is to trust my instincts. Often, my gut feeling is right, and I’ve come to rely on it throughout this journey. I also understand that failure is part of the process. It’s often said, but it’s so true: without failure, there’s no growth. Each setback has taught me valuable lessons that have contributed to my development.

There was a pivotal moment in my life when I was juggling my role as a creative director, running MoonstoneSeven, and caring for a newborn as well as my 2 other girls! I had to evaluate what brought me joy and what created stress. Ultimately, I realized that working for someone else was the least fulfilling for me. So, I took a leap of faith and committed fully to my own brand, and I haven’t looked back since.

I want the world to know that happiness should be a priority. My brand started because of my kids; they inspired me to create something that aligns with my values and passions. It’s a reminder that pursuing what you love is essential for a fulfilling life. MoonstoneSeven is more than a brand; it’s a reflection of my journey, my values, and the joy I find in creating something truly unique.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely, I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to God. My faith has been a guiding force in my life, providing me with strength, direction, and a sense of purpose. It’s through my spiritual journey that I’ve found resilience in challenging times and clarity in my decisions.

I also want to recognize the incredible community of people around me—followers, friends, and family—who have supported and encouraged me along the way. Their love and guidance have been invaluable. Each person has played a significant role in shaping who I am today, and I’m truly grateful for that.

And a special shoutout to my amazing husband. When I was ready to give up and walk away from my job to pursue this journey full-time, he didn’t even hesitate. His unwavering belief in me, his support, and his encouragement have been a steady source of strength. I couldn’t have done this without him by my side.

Ultimately, it’s this combination of faith, family, friends, and my husband’s support that has paved my path to success.
