Meet Sean LeVine | Owner and President

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean LeVine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sean, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After a wonderful 22-year career in the Emergency Medical and Fire services and a move to Arizona from Washington State, I decided to retire from that industry. I owned a small general contracting business several years ago during my EMS/Fire career and fell in love with entrepreneurship. My goal was to eventually own my own business again. When we moved to AZ in 2021 I began a search to purchase an existing company in the service industry. I looked at sprinkler system companies, solar panel cleaning, handyman businesses, junk removal, and several others. I just happened across the PuroClean opportunity, as the tagline “Paramedics of Property Damage” naturally caught my eye, so down the rabbit hole I went. The more research I did on the restoration industry and PuroClean, the more boxes were checked in terms of a business that fits my family and I. My background in EMS and Fire has provided me with skills that crossover well into restoration. As in EMS, I find myself in other people’s homes and businesses, somewhat unexpectedly, and often during a crisis. My ability to communicate with compassion to those in these situations, and to offer solutions and a clear pathway to restoration helps to provide some comfort and relief. The restoration industry has allowed me to continue to provide an emergency service and to help people through difficult times. Additionally, PuroClean is a known brand with a successful 30+ year track record throughout the US and Canada. They provide local owners with support, training, and they have a commitment to relentless customer service through exceptional leadership. Thus, PuroClean of San Tan was born and after a 2-week PuroClean Academy in Florida and several hours of other courses, our doors opened August 15th, 2022.

What should our readers know about your business?
PuroClean of San Tan is a locally owned and operated restoration and property damage company. We are a PuroClean franchise and the brand has been around for 30+ years in the US and Canada and is a leader in the industry. PuroClean of San Tan opened in Queen Creek, AZ in August of 2022. We service both residential and commercial primarily in the East Valley, from Florence to Gold Canyon to Phoenix and everything in between. We specialize in water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup, and we partner with other local, trusted contractors for reconstruction and/or asbestos/lead abatement. While we are experts at property damage restoration, we separate ourselves by making the people impacted by these disasters our primary focus with compassion and efforts to minimize the disruption to their daily lives. PuroClean of San Tan has IICRC certified technicians, and we are licensed, bonded, and insured.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
-Lunch at the Olive Mill in Queen Creek -Dinner at San Tan Flats
-Floating the Salt River
-Arizona Grand water park (especially if kids are in the equation)
-Top Golf
-Schnepff Farms
-Lunch at Nandos in Queen Creek
-Live music in downtown Chandler and/or Gilbert
-Catch a professional or ASU sporting event in Phoenix or Tempe
-Hike in San Tan Mountain Regional Park or the Superstitions
-Do a side-by-side excursion

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A huge shoutout to my wife, Joline LeVine. We are celebrating our 27 year anniversary next month (October). I most definitely could not have even considered opening our own business without her support. She has supported me through multiple stents in college, career changes, opening businesses, family crises, my various hobbies, learning to be a dad, coaching sports, surgeries, my good days, and more importantly, my bad days. All while achieving her own goals, raising our daughters, and climbing her own career ladder.
