We had the good fortune of connecting with Shane Kirchner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shane, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Vehicles are one of the largest purchases most people will make in their lives. Regular maintenance washes and interior care will make the overall cleaning experience easier and the vehicle will ultimately look better over its lifetime.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am proud of how far I have come from when I first stared detailing. Through challenges and finding solutions to problems I have been able to become more efficient with my processes. From minimizing steps, using the right products to setting up my mobile trailer.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Coconuts Fish Cafe in North Scottsdale for their 17 ingredient fish tacos, fish & chips and calamari. Fish is flown in from Hawaii.
Front Pourch Brewery in North Phoenix for a beer in their tap room and some 4 packs to bring home. Best beer around, family owned and operated.el

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shout out is to my father in law Jim who played a huge part in building my 1968 Dodge Coronet 500. One of my tasks was to help wet sand and polish the paint after he painted the car. With no prior experience I did my research, asked questions and completed my task. From there I became interested in learning more about automotive detailing. I found a community of detailers on the Hyperclean Pints and Polishing podcast. The podcast consisted of business owners in the detailing business and they would share their story, experiences and offer support to other detailers. I would go on to listen to the podcasts over the next 3 years and found my way to becoming a detailer.
