We had the good fortune of connecting with Sharelle Wilbert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sharelle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The idea of starting my business came from a combination of passion, market opportunity, and the desire to want to make people feel beautiful from the inside.

From there, I did thorough research to understand the Photography industry, target audience, and competition. I wanted to ensure that my business not only met a need but also had the potential to grow. I also spent time evaluating my own skills, learning new skills and experiences to see how they aligned with what my business required.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My photography is all about capturing authentic moments that often go unnoticed. I focus on telling a story through my images.

What sets me apart is my attention to detail and my ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. I believe the best photos come when people are at ease, and I work to create that environment. I also bring a fresh perspective to every shoot, blending technical skill with an artistic vision that makes my work both personal and striking.

I have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every adjustment, from color correction to skin retouching, looks natural and seamless. Whether it’s enhancing the lighting, refining textures, or removing distractions from the background, I bring technical precision and a creative touch to every project.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d take my friend to an amazing food truck because there’s something special about enjoying great food in a more casual, laid-back setting. Food trucks often have unique, creative menus that you can’t find in traditional restaurants, and they tend to focus on fresh, bold flavors that make every bite memorable. Plus, I love the relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy the meal outdoors, people-watch, and really take in the whole experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I just want to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to my amazing mom. From day one, she’s been my biggest supporter, my rock, and the person I can always count on. Whether it’s offering advice, cheering me on, or simply being there when I need her most, she’s the reason I’ve been able to accomplish so much.

Mom, thank you for your endless love, wisdom, and patience. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. Love you so much!
