Hi Shauna, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Where there is opportunity, there is risk. It is what propels us forward. Taking advantage of the unusual, rather than being comfortable with the ordinary. Trusting in your vision and doubling down on hard work. With hard work, doors open. Luck grows. It traces back to every aspect of my life and career. I’ve learned the value of consistent hard work and the road it leads you to.

What should our readers know about your business?
Unify Health & Fitness is built on the power of functional movement and adaptable principles to help every human live a better life- for life.

It is in a continuous state of growth, as it transforms into the wellness space I’ve always intended it to reach. Patience has been a muscle I’ve become much stronger at over the 5 years of business ownership.

Unify just expanded into a larger facility.. We are now able to serve more valley residents in fitness, mobility, recovery, and injury management. More importantly, we are creating a space for all individuals to strive for better health through exercise, nutrition, infrared sauna, cold plunge, and sport/life recovery methods.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Immediately drive up to Sedona for Brunch at Local Juicery and get outside and hike in the beautiful red mountains.

Come back down to the valley.

Spa day at Joya Spa to enjoy all the immensities of hot, cold, and warming room to reset the body. Poolside at Joya Spa snuggled up against Camelback is a treasure.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Those who deserve the most recognition in my story are my parents. They have been my biggest supporters and helpers along the way. It was through their example of hard work and mindset, that allowed me to see that faith in yourself and being willing to out work most, leads to incredible opportunities.
