Hi Shelly Albetta & Betsy DiGiovanni, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Everything amazing that has ever happened to us (and for us) involved taking calculated risks. Moving across the country from NJ to AZ without a set plan, was both terrifying and gratifying. Looking back, it sent us on a new life trajectory we would have never been on had we not taken that leap. Quitting our cushy corporate sales jobs followed, and we dove head first into our real estate journey. From there, The Property Twins was born. 3 years later, we are living our dream as entrepreneurs, thriving both mentally and financially, and in the best place we have ever been.
Takings risks is what life is all about. The fear of failure oftens holds people back when in reality, failure is an illusion. You can only learn and grow from your losses, and they are a necessary part of the process to success.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our brand The Property Twins, is backed by a combined 40+ years sales experience. We have been working together in business and life, since birth. We embody a hustle that is often hard to find out here in AZ. We attribute that to growing up and on the East Coast, where everyone in business grinds and operates at 100% at all times. You have to be aggressive and assertive to be successful in the NY/NJ area, and we learned that at an early age. These characteristics set us apart in the Arizona real estate world. Our cleints know we consider them family, that we will go to bat for them at all times, and that we are available to them 24/7. We are the perfect team, because we balance eachother and have mastered our roles. Betsy handles the backend of our business, (paperwork, financials, contracts, etc.) while Shelly handles the front end (correspondence with agents, networking, social media.etc). We’ve been in this industry 3 years now, and we are excited that this is just the beginning.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our favorite hiking spots in Arizona span from Sedona, to the Supersition Moutains. The Dolly Steamboat tour on Canyon lake is also beautiful, and where we often bring our visiting guests. Downtown Chandler and Gilbert are our go-to happy our locations. To catch a solid full body workout we hit F45 on Gilbert and the 202, or take a spin class at Power+Flow in Scottsdale.
Spa days are spent at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. One of the best pizza spots is Pizzeria Bianco in Downtown Phoenix.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to our parents, for always believing that we are capable of doing whatever we put our minds to. Also to our friends here in AZ that we consider family, for the constant positivity and encouragement. Lastly to our Alone No More Dog Rescue family, and the animal rescue community that is so near and dear to our hearts.
