We had the good fortune of connecting with Steven Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Steven, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
We started our company to give more to the customer. Over the years of working with so many customers, we were so shocked to hear about so many families and home owners that had been screwed over by so many unlicensed contractors. Whether it was the quality of workmanship, not finishing a job, or just taking the customers money and never even starting the project. That is why we came up with our motto. “Our Team For Your Dream!”. We stand by this motto by giving not just high quality craftsmanship, but honesty, integrity, value, respect, as well as top notch communication and organization. We’ve learned that by sticking to these principles, We are able to keep our customers coming back.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I was raised in a very creative artistic family. I always loved designing whether it was drawing, digital designing, or finish carpentry. I wanted to own my own business since I was 22 and have been working towards that goal ever since. I had to learn several different trades such as concrete, masonry, electrical, plumbing, framing, as well as carpentry. It wasn’t easy getting to the position where I and the company are at now. There were several times where I felt like giving up. But I continued to keep pressing forward. Our of all the lessons I had to endure and learn over the years, the one principle that was the most powerful in my life was allowing others to feel safe when they are in your presence. By that I mean not talking down to others, listening, encouraging, being respectful, and give more than you take. I just want the world to know that they can trust and count on Jacksons Premier Carpentry

My shout out goes to Terri Carver. She has been the biggest inspiration to our business and helping grow our company with a solid foundation
