We had the good fortune of connecting with Sydney Webb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sydney, how do you think about risk?
As a model, risk is a big part of the job. You take risk in working with new photographers, other models, makeup artists, designers and the list continues. However, risk is what makes the career exciting. Meeting and working with new people can be as exciting as it is scary.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The path to where I am now was not easy. It was filled with uphill battles about my age, my race, and so many other small things. And now it’s still the same but I have a group of people that surround me with such positivity that the negativity doesn’t effect me anymore. I want the world to know how stubborn I am. I work for what I want and I won’t give up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well here in Vegas there’s a lot of fun places to go. For a sweet treat, there’s Cream Me Ice Cream Shop. Somewhere fun and exciting is Area 15. Hanging by the pool is always fun. And going to fashion show mall is the best place to shop.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout is to Debra Storey of Blazzian Collection. I met her less than a year into modeling. I was a baby model who really didn’t know anyone. I was at a fashion show and she was a designer showcasing. I was given the opportunity to wear her gowns and we have been by each others side ever since. She’s another mother figure to me and i wouldn’t be in the place I’m in now without her.
