We had the good fortune of connecting with Tammy Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tammy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind our success is simple. We do what we say we’re going to do.

In the junk removal business, people are often stressed when they call. They’re dealing with a remodel, a move, an estate cleanout, or just years of buildup. They want someone reliable. They want someone who shows up on time, gives a clear price, and handles the job without drama.

We focus on service first. We answer the phone. We communicate clearly. We respect people’s homes and properties. Then we work hard and leave the space cleaner than we found it. That consistency builds trust.

Our brand grew because customers tell their neighbors about us. Word spreads fast in a community like Fountain Hills. When people know they can count on you, they call you again and they refer you. At the end of the day, it comes down to integrity and effort. We keep it simple, and we work hard every single job.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We run a junk removal company, but what we really do is help people move forward. Most of our calls come during moments of change. Someone is remodeling a home. Someone is clearing out a parent’s house. Someone is downsizing or starting fresh. There is usually a story behind the pile.

What sets us apart is how we treat people during those moments. We show up on time. We give a clear price. We work hard. We respect the property and the person standing in front of us. That sounds simple, but consistency is rare. We built our brand on reliability and effort.

I am most proud of the reputation we have earned in the community. When customers call and say a neighbor recommended us, that means more than any ad campaign. Word of mouth built this business. Reviews built this business. Trust built this business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love this question because Fountain Hills and the surrounding area are full of great spots that people overlook. If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d want them to experience a mix of desert beauty, good food, and local character.

Day 1: We’d start simple. Morning coffee at a local café near the Fountain Park area, then a walk around the fountain itself. The views of the water with the mountains behind it never get old. In the evening, dinner at a solid local grill with patio seating so we can catch the sunset.

Day 2: We’d hike early before the heat kicks in. The Dixie Mine Trail is a favorite. It gives you desert scenery without being overwhelming. After that, we’d head into Scottsdale for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring Old Town. Great shops, good people watching, and plenty of energy.

Day 3: A short drive to the Salt River for kayaking or tubing, depending on the season. It’s a great way to cool off and see a different side of the desert. Dinner that night would be something upscale in Scottsdale. A steakhouse or modern American place with a lively bar scene.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d give a lot of credit to my family and the people who believed in me early on. Starting and growing a business is not a solo act, even if it looks that way from the outside. There are long days, tough weeks, and moments where you question whether you made the right call. Having people in your corner who support you through that makes all the difference.

I’d also give credit to the local community. In a place like Fountain Hills, word travels fast. The early customers who took a chance on us, left reviews, and referred us to friends helped build the foundation. Small business runs on trust, and that trust comes from real people giving you an opportunity.
