We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Freitas AKA ForkThis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor Freitas AKA ForkThis, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Posting pictures and social media in general may seem like the worlds easiest job but it is not! You have to understand who your audience is, be able to target/market accordingly, post at the right times, add the right hashtags and make your post as widely viewed as possible to reach more potential followers. It truly does take a lot of time, research and effort but it is so rewarding seeing your platform grow!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have a creative brain for sure! I really enjoy creating content, posts and taking amazing food pictures for my followers. Taking pictures is something that I really love and so is food, so combining the two is so fun for me! I love sharing all of the amazing small business’ and local restaurants I find with my following as well and helping show what the community has to offer! Something I am most proud of about this page is how much I have been able to grow and create a loyal following. I have had this page since I was in college back in 2017 and so many people have watched me grow and continue to perfect my craft and that is so awesome!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is right up my alley! I also have to preface that I recently moved to Scottsdale, I will be here a year come August. Although, I still think I have found some really cool spots. I would of course take them to old town for a wild night, drinks and dancing at my favorite spot, the hot chick! The vibes are amazing there, not too much like a club but a little bit more energy than your local bar. Also, great music and plenty of room to dance! For some bomb Mexican food I would take them to los sombreros in Tempe as I recently went there and the tacos were amazing! So delicious, crunchy and flavorful. My strawberry margarita hit the spot as well! I would of course take them on my favorite hike, no, not camelback, it is a hike in fountain hills but I don’t want to reveal the name as almost no one is ever there and that is super rare to find around here and I want to keep it for myself haha. Some other activities I would take them to would be: top golf, the botanical gardens, or even ATVing through the desert. There is so much to do and see here in Arizona and that is one of the main reasons I love it here!
