We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Liddile and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process was to build on the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years and to pass that along to other small businesses who feel they are not able to afford marketing services. I also wanted to begin working for myself and to build generational wealth. I wanted to leave my mark, my legacy in my own business.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am here to help small businesses get over the hurdle and disbelief that marketing is not available for their business. I am most excited about sharing my knowledge of social, email and event marketing tactics that small businesses can use to help build their presence online without breaking the bank. I tailor packages that are a specific to their business and how they want to present themselves in an online capacity.
How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
– I am here today because of the circles of people, mentors and businesses that I surrounded myself with. I’ve made many connections over the years and continued those relationships even after I left organizations. It’s all about how you build your network and use those resources to continue educating yourself in your field. Marketing is ever-changing and I continue to build my knowledge and pass along what I know to others that are trying to build themselves or their business.
It’s definitely not easy. There were many times that I questioned whether or not I was on the right path or doing the right thing. In those moments of uncertainty, I leaned on my husband, my family and friends to help me see that I needed to continue to push through the tough times and that it would work out in the end. Again, having that support system and mentors to lean on, is really what helps you through those challenging times.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
– I’ve learned that it’s ok to re-evaluate your business and to lock in to your purpose. I had to realize this when I went through the We Rise Business Accelerator and graduated in January 2022. It’s ok to have set backs but never give up on pursuing your dream and your purpose.
– I want people to realize that I am my brand. When you work with me, I am the one doing the work and creating the content for your business. I am hands-on and want to learn as much as possible about you, your business and your online presence. I want you to feel comfortable working with me and letting me know if something doesn’t work for you or your business. We work in tandem, together!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend were visiting for a week, I would definitely have them stay with me at my home and provide an amazing breakfast for them each morning. I love breakfast and breakfast foods so I’m willing to sacrifice and make an awesome breakfast every morning. I would schedule appointments for a manicure, pedicure and massage for the both of us. A little pampering before we head out and do a little retail therapy. I’m not big on shopping but I know that my friends are.
We would visit several restaurants such as Brunch n Sip, Olive Garden, Portillos, Steak 44 and Ah-Hai Sushi and Grill. Some of these places, I have been to and some I have not.
We would also spend some time at my home with my family and friends enjoying game nights with drinks and food. I like to entertain so just a few nights hanging out at home would be great.
I would also plan a quick day trip with my sister and friend and head up to Sedona to do a quick hike and some shopping and sightseeing.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My dedication would go to my husband, Terrance Liddile. Without his support in the early days, I would have never discovered that Marketing is my passion and my calling in this world. I am forever grateful for his love, support, encouragement and endless amounts of pushing me towards my goals.
I am also grateful for the We Rise Business Accelerator Program that helped to shape my business into what it is today. This program also introduced me to my first client and will continue to be a staple in my business growth as I move forward and conquer new heights.
