We had the good fortune of connecting with Tim Miles and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tim, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Photography is so readily available via smartphones. Group photos are the most desirable so they can tag friends. It’s difficult to quickly deliver high quality pictures. As I’ve expanded my business, I’ve worked on improving my workflow, and use automated tools to provide faster turnaround for photos. This has definitely helped balance that work life scale.
There’s a finite amount of time and moving forward as a business means that getting quality clients is the most optimal. It provides me the quality time to provide amazing works without being creatively blank and burnt out.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think we all take different paths to achieve our goals. It’s shaped by our environment and the choices we make along that path.
I’ve definitely learned valuable insights into running a small business and how to hone my skillets.
I believe having a solid support network helps overcomes many difficulties and helps open many more opportunities.
Ideally, I’d like to world to know about my commitment to the craft and how to being bold speaks volumes.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d definitely take them to get some amazing food to catch up with them. Afterwards I think it’s good to get some exercise. Some of my favorite activities these days are indoor pickleball and rock climbing. It allows for some good exercise and plenty of downtime to rest, strategize and continue discussions.
Some of my go-to places these days are Alta Boulders and Center Court Pickleball.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Crush pickleball
