We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timothy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
You have to look at Risk and Reward together as one. There is always risk in virtually everything you do in life and starting a new business is no different. You plan for success and you take a risk in order to achieve that success. When I started Special Ops Clean Team I knew there was a need for our service, so to me the risk verses reward was a very easy decision, but for some people their vision isn’t big enough to take that risk. If you can dream it you can achieve it.

What should our readers know about your business?
Special Ops Clean Team was an idea I had to start a special team with The Perfectionist Cleaning Services that could handle really difficult hoarder and construction and nasty move-outs. It went so well we formed its own company. We look for teammates who are willing to go and and above their call of duty. we tell our team, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail no one can stop us from succeeding. The best advice I would give anyone is that it is a true roller coaster ride and don’t sweat the small stuff and forge ahead. Keep your eye on the prize, and never quit. Our biggest takeaway from starting a Special Ops franchise is to go all in. One lesson I learned from my dad was- Son if you can’t do it right, don’t do it all. My mom is such a positive person, and her claim to fame is kill them with kindness. And that is how I treat everyone with Love.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well lets start out by saying I am a very simple guy that loves God and his family and my teammates at Special Ops Clean Team. My wife and I love to eat out and our favorite place to go is The Tavern Bar & Grill on Via Linda. The owners Ryan & Matt and they staff are like family so we would eat and drink and haves some laughs. Second we would take our friend out on the lake on our boat. We love football, so a Cardinal game would be in order or a concert as music is a passion of mine.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The first person I would thank is God. He gives me the strength to forge ahead and take action. My wife Shelley is the most positive person I know when it comes to my business and investments. She truly believes in me and allows me to be me and take those risks all day long. My parents Noel & Elfi Lee made me the man I am today. They allowed me to start working and making money as a young kid. Working til 1am in the morning and delivering newspapers at 4am gives you to fortitude go full speed ahead and make things happen.
