We had the good fortune of connecting with Trish Renehan Vodrazka and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trish, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Well I am a person that will always keep going and trying.  Taking something out of your life that is not good for you is not giving up.  There will be a moment to recognize when it is not working and you need to move on to what is best for you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have 30+ years of experience in the hospitality, bar, and restaurant industry in Arizona.  I offer consulting services ranging from restaurant operations, event planning, catering, fundraising, social media and marketing, to spirits, wine and beer education.

I was brought up around family with a strong work ethic. It has not always been easy and you will have challenges in your career. You also will have to  sometimes learn the hard way to find and shape yourself into the person you want to be and in your industry.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s a big list. I’ve actually started a Google list since I have lived in the Valley of places to go and share with friends and family when they are visiting. I am a serious advocate of local businesses. So to narrow it down and only name a few wouldn’t be fair for everyone I love and adore.

Please support local! For a view though I would say go on hikes across The Valley. Some of my favorite views are at Wrigley Mansion and Sanctuary Resort where my husband and I got married.
DM me on Instagram and I will share my list with you.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My daughter Michaela and my husband Ben.  My family is important to me.

I would also like to acknowledge the United States Bartenders Guild, Phoenix Chapter Board, Officers and Members.  I have been a  member since 2013.  The education has been immeasurable.
I owe great thanks as well to the USBG National Charity Foundation. I was a Grant recipient myself and have been on the Board of Directors since 2021.
